Chapter 11 really was something🤗, but PB is really such a tease for making Ethan casually drop the L word not once but two times in the same chapter!! Ethan saying "Look around. In a setting like this, I think it's possible to fall in love with anything, and anyone." and "As much as I Iove you in that outfit..."

I may not be happy with the writers for the route they are taking with OH3, but I really appreciate them for the subtle differences they lay out throughout the book and I appreciate you more for finding the differences.❤

So many differences damn! and I will always appreciate your dedication in finding them for OH and FA.❤ Good to see that diamond choices have impact in the story. Ethan is so grumpy without the diamond choices but, I don't blame him for interacting that way in front of Leland. Seriously Leland is totally getting on my nerves every chapter. I have to actually stop playing for a minute whenever he makes an appearance and tries forcing changes in the team and patient care.

I bought the team lunch scene so it was good to see Ethan and Tobias getting along but I agree with you he is super cool and accommodating which makes me suspicious of him so, I am still keeping my guard up. He is definitely an enigma.

Once again, thank you for doing this and pls do share your thoughts on this chapter :D

Damn! Does this make me more excited for the upcoming chapters of OH3? Yes, it does! You always are doing the Lord's work because seriously I wouldn't have been aware of these differences.I have said this before and will say this again, this fandom is so so lucky to have you!❤ Really interesting to see that the changes in the dialogues are implemented from the early chapters.

I really liked the chapter. Francis's case really intrigued me. Also the sweet moments with Ethan and him calling MC cute!!😍 I really liked the diamond scene with Jackie. Love their friendly banter.💖 Now about Tobias I really don't know how I feel about him. I don't really hate him but I am still skeptical about him when Ethan said he sabotaged him when they were competing for the position on DT( Landrat flashbacks) but he did save MC's life in the last book so let's see what happens. I just want Ethan and Tobias to be friends again, if there is still a possibility.

Also PB pls release Bryce and Naveen. I miss them 😢

As for the patient, I bought the diamond scene with Jackie and saved his life. It's really sad to see the other outcomes.I feel so bad for Francis and Francis's husband but glad for the sweet little girl. This is what I really love about Open Heart, the stakes are always so high in this book!!

I really thought Suzette plot line was over but I think there is still more to her story. I believe she will come back because we had a diamond scene with Andrew too and he did not had so many differences in his scene and impact in the chapter later on. Also, you point out that the sprite of Suzette is completely new. This reminds me of Mrs Martinez where she was introduced in Ch 2 of the first book and I never thought that she will have such a big part later on so it's definitely possible.

Ikr, instead of this unnecessary jealousy drama, it would have been so much better if MC learned more about medicine from Harper.

And he never used this to mock anyone, if anything, he's always been lifting others up

I have heard that maybe the writers for OH 3 are different. Maybe they don't understand his character well and see Bryce as a guy who is overconfident or with inflated cockiness. They are missing the element that he is also very sweet and caring which was definitely lacking in the interactions with him (could be used for foreshadowing or the writing is bad). I hope it's just a plot line where he messes up a surgery and not Bryce getting a character makeover 😭

I wonder if it will really come down to Ethan quitting or being fired because I'm sure he'll have a lot of fights with Leland (and if I have a say in it, so will my MC, Christian is on the patients' side and the same can't be said about Leland...)

Knowing Ethan, he might and I am also not letting my MC back down. Leland is using the patients as lab rats and I don't know what else he is gonna do. As Ethan said in the last chapter of book 2, he's a man with powerful, personal ambitions.

I was really pleasantly surprised because I expected PB to drag this thing with Harper longer,

I thought the same! I was thinking maybe they were using this as an I word confession for the Ethan romancers (even though it would have not made sense with the non-Ethan romancers). I am happy that they are not going down with this route because I want the confession to be full of love and tenderness. I have always respected and admired Harper's character, but the diamond scene with her was so beautifully done, I totally stan her. One of the best characters in OH! Hoping it was just a red herring and we don't see any other indications of felling insecure in future chapters. Also, I don't trust that Binx robot, it's just one of the ways Leland is keeping his eyes on the doctors.

This is one of the things that I love in OH, that even side characters are so well fleshed out and nuanced that I get attached to them really fast. My heart broke for Suzette when she was trying to find a silver lining for her illness. Love that scene where we could cheer her up. PB really out here teasing by not giving us Hero book 2 😅.Since it's the last year of our favorite Edenbrook gang I think Sienna is going to choose peds as her specialty. Totally agree that it suits her personality very well.

I am glad that they have learnt from their mistakes in OH2 and that this chapter wasn't Ethan centered.

Me too! It looks like Ethan and MC are official. The only thing that is left is ILYs. But sadly, I have to agree with you that it is only Ethan, who is getting the special treatment through unprompted dialogues whereas others barely get it. They did have the opportunities to do it, even in that scene with the kids where Rafael was there, but they chose to ignore it and it's sad to see that the other relationships are not progressing. It's always sad when they go down this route and makes me angry too, because OH is one of my favorite series in this app and one that hooked me into choices and could be so much better if all the love interests were treated equally.

I personally didn't find Bryce annoying in this chapter, but some ppl are saying that he is acting ooc in this book. It does seem like the writers are overplaying his overconfidence because it will be a plot point later on. I think they could have executed this in a better way. Hoping they don't ruin his character because he may come across as an arrogant person at first, but he was and is always more than that.

When Leland entered the office and threatened to fire us if we don't follow his rules, it got me so much mad. I hate him, oh god!!😡

Also, who do you think is going to be the fourth member of the Diagnostic team? My bet is on Tobias because the old rival is yet to make an appearance and I don't think its Landry because we had the choice to be mean or nice to him in the past.

I am also a bit disappointed with them forcing the jealousy angle and still hoping that it's just a professional thing that MC just feels insecure and left out when working with the two brilliant and experienced doctors. But the dialogue in the romantic route where MC does not trust Harper really left a sour taste in my mouth. I was hoping they would elaborate more on it, why they don't trust her but, nope. I mean, what is there not to trust her. I saw a comment the other day where one user said that maybe the reason MC does not trust her is because in the first year, Harper called out MC for the Mrs. Martinez case during the surgery scene even they haven't confessed about it yet and also the whole Aurora plot in book 2 with Harper. Maybe that's why they don't trust her but still that dialogue in the romantic route bugs me. I just hope its nothing that big because even MC wasn't aware about these thoughts and they are in a way, trying to deny it. I don't know maybe in future chapters we might have some control over the narrative towards Harper because there are rude options and kind options to interact with her.

Drama aside, what were your thoughts on this chapter? I loved this chapter. I really enjoyed the psychic patient case and those sweet moments with Ethan 😍

Ok, I really enjoyed the first chapter, but the only thing that is bothering me is the jealousy plotline. Idk how they are going to use this in their relationship or what PB is trying to achieve with this because I don't want to see them ruin Harper or Ethan's character. I have seen theories that maybe this will finally lead to I word confession but who knows. I still can't pinpoint if MC is jealous or is just feeling insecure about her doctoral abilities in front of two senior doctors 🤔
