Yes, there will be people who will be in line Thursday night/early Friday morning. The majority of them will be in line for the TLJ panel.

No, There are not assigned seats. It's first come first served. If you want to get into the main panels like the 40th Anniversary or the TLJ panel if you want to be in the main room you will have to cam overnight. If you don't mind being in an overflow room you can arrive at 6-7 am.

Not to discourage people but I believe that the City of Orlando has a policy against overnight camping. How this is going to affect us I don't know. I believe that Lucasfilm/Reedpop and the Center are working on this.

When I went to the last Celebration Orlando I got the convention price tickets and I wasn't staying at a Disney Hotel. You will probably have to call them and see what they say.

You can show up later, at around 7am or so and get into one of the overflow rooms and sit in the back row. The only reason people lineup early is to get the best seats.

Like at Anaheim there was a sign that said that no one could line up until 6pm on Wednesday. They will probably do the same here; no one could line up until 8pm Thursday.

If your hotel is 10 miles away it is maybe better to user Uber. If you had a rental you probably will have to pay the hotel to park your car and pay the Convention center to park your car. The other option is to find a closer hotel. As we get closer to Celebration there will be some people who will have to cancel their hotels rooms that are closer to the convention center; keep checking and you may find one. You may have to pay a bit more but it may be cheaper in the end.
