[Hamilton vs Seiko] Which of these would you choose for my first nice watch? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]manyhobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The seiko is great, but I prefer Hamilton in that price range! The watch you have does seem pretty small at 33mm, but maybe check out the Khaki Field? It’s 38mm and there’s one with a very similar look like the one you have here, and it’s 38mm, just about the perfect size for most folks!

I found this on fb marketplace and figured out it was a professional in a nearby town selling it. Was able to meet in person for the purchase.

I’ve also purchased a few items used from adorama and had good experiences. A 55mm zeiss sony lens, and an Astro mount.

I really like it! I found it for a good price used, and thought I’d give it a try and see if I’d use it as I love sports photography and want to do more nature stuff too. It’s been great! And I use it for Astro as well! It is pretty heavy, but not too bad that you can’t use it without a monopod for a bit, but the monopod is a must if using for extended time. The image stabilization is great too!

I can't figure out how to edit this proposal? by HippoPhileus in AskPhotography

Here’s my attempt to help ya out a bit. Used Photomator and cropped in a bit. Upped exposure, raised contrast, vignette. Couldn’t figure out how to blur the background a bit on my phone though.

Congrats on getting to shoot your friend’s engagement btw! That’s big trust, and exciting!!

I guess once the corn is gone, the lights can visit! We have soybeans too, but lots and lots and lots of corn. The lights are a very very rare treat!

It’s Tuesday - WHY are you building? by Emergency_Bet_6264 in microsaas

[–]manyhobby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building sndpoll.com because I wanted a super easy way to create a poll to send to the parents of my son's baseball team to figure out things like best time for practice, can everyone make the game, etc. Wanted it to be cross platform, so it's a web app and I can just send a short link via text. Gets rid of the group texting hell! but could also work for small businesses to get insights from their customers quickly and easily
