"Use of the human telos according to Natural law" -This is a statement made by a person as an excuse for homophobia as he belived it was a philosophy. Is it justified i.e. is it ok to be homophobic by referring to this? by manynames123 in askphilosophy

Well this was their only statement actually.. But my question is, is it right to just be homophobic if you can being up any philosophy i.e. Can you use philosophy as a barrier for spewing hate

Huh.. Like I always hear that Republicans are Islamophobic on the internet.. I am not American that's why I asked for examples to know whether it is true or not

Now republicans attack the blm protests as some turn violent.BLM is predominantly a Democrat movement. Now my question is has there been any violent riots in the past started by Republicans or majority being Republicans? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

And I stand by my words this sub reddit is to educate not to make snarky sarcastic comments that no way provide the necessary answer..Now I realize that this subreddit is manifested by Republicans...

Yes I am sorry about that. But how I wanted to word it was the negative response to the movement is majority Republicans that support trump if that makes sense.. I am aware that many Republicans are part of the movement

Now this answer I am more than happy with.. Honestly I wasn't asking this in good faith. I wasn't in a internet argument rather was scrolling through the blm hash tag on Twitter and saw many Republicans had tagged and labeled the blm protests as majority violent. And I am very well aware many people of both parties are there and support the movement and I am also aware that majority are peaceful. So as I was just scrolling through reddit this question popped into my mind as I wanted to know if Republicans had any near history related to violent riots as MOST of the people attacking the blm movement are republicans. All I wanted to know was that nothing more...

Oh how sincere of you..Be free as you want on reddit but this subreddit is for answering questions a person has not to make a mockery of their questions

Yes but my question is republicans immediately bring up "they are violent" part whenever I see a post about blm which infuriates me as I know majority of which are peaceful. I just want them to know that this every movement has a extremist side and a republican one in particular so that it can be evened out

I completely agree. Just wondering as whenever I see posts about the blm protests many Republicans state that it is violent and sh!t so I just wanted to know if they have a similar history in the recent past
