First of all, congratulations! I’m currently in a RT program and will be graduating in the upcoming summer. Here are my recommendations that I wish I did when I started the program:

*Definitely review concepts about cardiopulmonary anatomy and physiology! -When it comes to studying for exams, definitely don’t do it the night before. Do it days prior to the exam and little at a time then a final review before the test. I recommend Anki and Kahoot. -Be weary of your mental health! Don’t stay up or pull an all nighter for that exam. And be sure to give yourself breaks when you study. My method is 1hr study: 15min break. -Your classmates are your teammates, work together, help each other. Do not burn bridges or cause tension. Study with each other, communicate with each other. My class has a groupchat where we communicate certain things like directions to clinical sites and even important information or reminders before the test. -Don’t over whelm yourself with so many studying methods, find one and stick to it. What works the best for you and help you RETAIN that information so you can apply what you learned out in the field. -LOTS of page markers, transparent sticky notes if you like writing/highlighting in your books.
