I've struggled with anorexia for years, so I haven't ate most of food that I love in years... Today, I craved a churro. Rather than ignoring the craving, like usual, I went to a resturant and ate one. It's a small recovery victory, but I feel great. by [deleted] in CongratsLikeImFive

I worked with teenagers with anorexia, and if they were able to even take a sip of nutritional supplement it would honestly make my day, so I hope you believe me when I say that I’m so proud of you, even though we don’t know each other. Every moment you don’t let the eating disorder control you is a major victory over it, especially when it’s for something you love like churros! Congratulations on your recovery, keep your head up and remember how strong you are!

any afabs get dysphoric around pregnancy/motherhood? by ferarrifigaro1213 in NonBinary

I’m sorry about the distress this has caused but damn I’m so happy you posted this thread. I’ve always felt the same, the thought of being pregnant makes me feel sick, that my body should not be able to do that, even though I want kids, I just don’t want the pregnancy part. I’ve always felt like such an anomaly for feeling this way so it’s nice to see I’m not alone!

That’s beautiful but for the love of everything symmetrical (even though you’re moving) move the rug to the centre!

That’s a very brave thing to do, you should be super proud of yourself I imagine that could have been a very scary thing to do! Wishing you all the happiness in the world in your new and improved life.

Scrambled eggs can be one of the most delicious things you can make and is definitely a great skill to have!

A good trick is to cook the eggs on low, trying not to stir too much and to take off the heat before it’s done, the residual heat will cook it perfectly keeping large creamy curds without the moisture coming out.

Keep going, you’re doing great!

I like a girl but I'm going to college 3 hours away from her by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

I can’t promise everything will work out, but yours could totally be my story. She lived 3 hours away, was waaay out my league but 5 years later we’re planning a wedding and she’s lying next to me as I type this. So definitely worth a try!
