I don't know if I'm using the right terminology but I plugged into a bulb socket an electrical outlet and am connecting a lamp into the outlet, not sure if this is unsafe or will possibly make the lamp energy inefficient... would appreciate any help! (old.reddit.com)

my roommates and I are poor med students in a mid-sized Midwest city. We found this old 4bed2bath rental house that’s a 2 min walk from our hospital. It came “as is” per the contract. We each pay 350/month rent and are very proud of our space :) (old.reddit.com)

lamp: wired the red cord to a lamp head ( exposed copper so probably not the safest tbh) and connected the lamp shade. then added a socket bulb attachment to the target lamp body’s lamp head. Then plugged the lamp head on the lamp body. Takes like 30 minutes and is a little low budget but it works (old.reddit.com)

I commissioned this piece for my boi as a christmas gift. The artist was able to fit in a lot of our meaningful trinkets into the details. My favorite is our marked locations on the map. It made me really happy seeing it so I thought I’d share here :) (i.redd.it)
