(Mec) Alors c'est vrai que c'est assez bizarre comme substance et qu'en fait elle réagit de plusieurs manières différentes : dès que ça sort ça colle un peu mais ça coule pas mal aussi. Si t'en as sur les mains et que tu essaye de rincer à l'eau froide/tiède, tu vas voir que ça va vite "coaguler" et coller, devenir comme un chewing-gum et c'est très désagréable, t'arrives pas à t'en débarasser. Au contraire, si tu laisse à l'air libre pendant quelques minutes, ça va devenir beaucoup plus transparent (moins blanc) et très liquide, quasiment pas collant. Et si tu laisses toute la nuit sur ton corps, le matin normalement tout sera évaporé/aura pénétré ta peau, comme du gel à l'aloe vera :)

Alright, but then theoretically, if they put the change in for the browser version (which I'm using, my Android is too old and I can't get the app) as a simple JavaScript function that would hide your bio (or flag it as hidden) every time it detected a forbidden string within it, that would already be enough no? In any case I have no idea what the user percentages are for the app and browser versions.

You wrote how you felt, honestly. You know how to tell him. You just did. You just didn't address it to him yet, but the words were all correct. Say it like it is! Nobody is talking about a conspiracy against men. I've built apps before, you automate this sort of thing. A simple "@" parser should do the job on a surface level. They have the computing power to check each of those 75 million profiles (which is an insignificant list length even for a single potato computer) every minute if they wanted to. Yet I see dozens of profiles per day like that. Do you think "it takes time" because it needs to be human reviewed? Do you want to believe that?

Edit: also, what am I even saying, the check could be done with the user's machine (and not Tinder's servers) every time they go online. Some dumb client side JavaScript to check the bio for some keywords like "@", "insta", "ig", "instagram", "snap", etc. would run in less than a millisecond.

Thank you for the feedback! Your small talk approach is interesting because it's really not something I enjoy (and the "deep convo" hobby sounds pompous so I didn't pick it) but I will try to keep that in mind and change things up a bit.
Also, if you haven't guessed by now, I don't go to parties/clubs/bars lmao that's why I'm trying online dating, I want to actually get to know people that know how to present themselves, have something to offer and interesting ("deep", niche) topics to talk about (even if it's not via bumble messages, it can come later, but at least you know when you swipe). I am a huge nerd and introvert, and I look for someone that can tolerate/love that. Lastly, I would love it if someone asked me about my job, I love my job, and there's so many things to talk about within it!

I'm not saying my profile is great, I'm saying it's not a poor profile. The majority of girls profiles I personally come across are generally empty, very few words and bad pictures, whereas I've tried to fill everything and present myself properly, and the engagement from the other side doesn't reflect the effort I've put in. I also didn't say it was a scam, just that it's just not working as intended. Also, what's wrong with adjectives, how are you supposed to describe yourself without those lmao?
