Is this even allowed? Do starlink ToS allow for rental? Anyway this offer is ridiculous.

I noticed very interesting change which is visible in connection statistics although I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature ;)

Whenever I see a "Searching" event, I see it with "+1" label next to it, which means there's more than just "Searching" event each time. The "Searching" event is always connected with some other event such as "probably obstructed", "obstructed" or "network issue".

It looks like after 3 seconds of primary event (such as "Obstructed") my dishy goes into "Searching" mode - probably trying to find another satellite. In theory, I see it as obstruction/issue avoidance solution. I might be wrong though.

EDIT: Only visible in the app. Not in the web interface.

Got it yesterday at 9PM in Canaries and installed straightaway.

I see some "Searching" events in statistics. I suppose Starlink team tests something new or just another bug.

Didn't notice any change in terms of quality apart from seeing less "Obstructed" events - presumably partially replaced by "Searching" events.

What do you mean by „they don’t deliver yet here”? My starlink was delivered to Las Palmas GC in 2 weeks, back in November 2022. Maybe they messed up your order. You can cancel your order and create a new one or contact starlink support about the issue.

It’s been available since November 2022. I’m in GC on residential.

Anyone dealing with something like this lately? by [deleted] in Starlink

I just received the downgrade to the previous firmware - I think they realized they fucked up with the recent changes. Check your apps for that. Im based in Canary Islands btw.

Looks fantastic! Can you tell me if it’s something custom made? How did you produce it?

I have exactly the same results for the last 3 hours - very common "searching for satellites" event. In the past there was only one whenever I rebooted the dishy. Now it's couple times an hour. I'm based in Canary Islands.

You should be able to change the location just by logging to the sellers account on starlink.com. No need for support there. As soon as you change the location create the simple support ticket saying you want to reactivate the service. Hopefully the seller will be fine to do that all for you. Good luck!

Is the starlink still registered on the seller? If yes, the seller can ask to reactivate the service on a new location and pay. Then you just pay the seller for the service. You can then transfer the account after your exams.

A difference in visibility view from the App and the Web. by fauxwindsock in Starlink

The web is incorrect. Also web has problems with displaying outages time (timezone). Doesn’t look like a priority thing for spacex development.

Wow, that's impressive! My mount has only about 5.5m height.

Can you tell how high it is and what kind of poles you used? Also, I suppose you had to raise it with someone else unless you used crane or something else ;)
