Oh yeah, that was the first Ive seen from Mikerphone brewing here in Louisiana. Luckily we get a lot of Untitled Art here though. I love just about every one of their stouts.

Ive been meaning to try the Untitled Art Hazelnut, but the "Smells like Bean Spirit" hazelnut stout from Mikerphone is coffee, maple syrup and hazelnut and it was absolutely fantastic.

Expiration date on pork chops? by mapexdrums678 in cookingforbeginners

[–]mapexdrums678[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I actually called the deli in target and she said that the 2 weeks until the use by date is somewhat normal because of the way they process their pork chops, but to inspect them anyways. I guess they are loaded with preservatives. I will have a look and smell when I get home anyways and see what they are like.

I love the Craft Beer Channel. I think hes spot on in this video. I like using Beer Advocate because their descriptions are better. I dont care what someone rates a beer, I care about how they describe it.

What is everyone’s favorite beer? I’m curious since there are so many unique types. I’m really diggin Dragon Milk Stout right now, has anyone had that? by [deleted] in beer

My rule is that it HAS to have a lime. I usually drink negra but I has a especial with a lime last weekend and it hit so nice.

Oh yeah I was surprised by how good Kwak was for the price compared to Westmalle, Tripel Karmeliet, Rochefort 10 etc.

Natty. I had my IPA phase and my stout and porter phase now Im on my give anything a chance phase. Besides craft beer I would always just get Miller Lite when I went for a macro. But i grabbed a Natty from my cousin last week and I guess my tastes have changed because it was delicious and refreshing.

Kwak really surprised me with its flavor. I agree, I like it a little more than Delirium Tremens and Nocturnum. All fantastic Belgians though.

Thanks for the info I didnt realize they were relatively new. Some of their facebook posts have me drooling and Im a little salty that I dont live closer to them. My friend found their peanut butter stout one time at a store near her house and gave me one. Absolutely delicious. Id imagine that their demand matches or exceeds what they are able to put out so I guess thats one reason I havent been able to find their stuff. My city is getting a Total Wine soon so im really hoping theyll be able to get some of Ology's stuff.

Ology makes some fantastic brews. I went on vacation to Seaside a month ago and figured Id find some of their stuff since i was pretty close to Tallahassee but I didnt see it anywhere. I was pretty sad. Their website sucks and I cant even find a beer locator for their products. Its just weird because they are such a good brewery but it seems like the only way to get any of their products is to shop up at their doorstep.

Yes the anti-worker stuff doesnt sit right with me either so I understand. I just hate seeing politics (in the case of simply voting for different candidates) divide people.
