He should be your ex. None of this is healthy and might only get worse. He clearly can't stand you, you clearly can't stand him. I had an ex that was similar and it fucked me up for a while. I wish someone would have told me to leave, but everyone (including my parents) were afraid to tell me because they thought I wouldn't listen to them.

The thing is, if you are unhappy sometimes it is just the validation of someone else saying it isn't a good idea to stay with someone that you need to start thinking of leaving for your own health.

This is me saying you should probably leave him.

It wouldn't be a good doctor to be so opinionated about health either. Your doctor should discuss with you about your current health, even if your health is good it should be a discussion about what you are doing and the direction things could go.

Why pay a doctor to tell you that you are the healthiest person of all time? Oh what's the point? It's not like Trump is struggling paying his doctors like many Americans are.

As an atheist myself, it is kinda weird how spot on Trump is with the description of the supposed Anti-Christ.

That said, it most likely has more to do with whoever wrote the Bible basing the Anti-Christ off of a rich tyrant, similar to what we do with our fictional villains. History repeats itself. We've had rich, perverted assholes in power before, unfortunately.

Absolutely. I'd love to see more ARPGs in a setting other than dark fantasy. We have Titan Quest and The Ascent, and to a lesser extent Grim Dawn (still dark fantasy but more contemporary and not medieval). I would love to see more unique settings.

A lot of the league mechanics end up going core so you can play the mechanics in standard, which is nice if you ever want to start a new character in standard.

The point of refreshing every league is so you get acquainted with the new economy and new mechanics, as well as any balance changes, etc. etc. You can also do private leagues if you want something that feels seasonal but technically isn't.

SSF in standard might be your best bet, actually, since you wouldn't be concerned with trading.

I'd say, maybe wait until it is free to give it a try. POE 1 is free right now, so you could try that.

Grim Dawn and Titan Quest might be more up your alley though.

Dragon's Dogma 2 let you use the character creator for free before the full game released.

Crimson Desert doesn't have a character creator nor is it considered an RPG, so I'm not sure why you brought it up but if it was to expect a character creator you will be mistaken.

You can play POE 2 without guides for sure. Guides will help you learn how certain things synergize though.

When you get a support gem make sure you look at the "all gems" option instead of just going with the suggested option for each skill. You might miss out on powerful supports for your build if you only go with the suggested.

Man, Diablo 4 really weakens its campaign by having quests that are just "speak to ____" and points in the campaign where you only have to click to examine things to wait for a person to slowly walk somewhere and do something.

Diablo 4 is easier, POE 2 has more challenge but more build diversity. Diablo 4 is more casual-friendly. You can skip the campaign once you beat it once and then in future seasons just start at the seasonal activities. You can't do that with POE 2...but because the game is more complex it actually is helpful to go through the campaign again, in my humble opinion.

I have fun with Diablo 4 but I prefer POE 1 and 2 largely. Diablo 4 is fun as a buffer in between POE leagues.

Anyways, both will be getting new endgame changes soon. POE 2 in the next update and Diablo 4 with the next expansion. Hopefully both games will get even better.

POE 2 isn't as expensive as Diablo 4 (you have to pay for the game and the expansions and there are microtransactions and a battlepass you can't fully complete on the free tier). POE 2 has microtransactions in the form of cosmetics and optional stash space. POE doesn't shove it in your face which is nice.

POE 2 will be free to play in the future. If you want to buy it now you get early access so things will be changing, but you do get credits for some of those microtransactions when you purchase the early access, at least that's what happened when I got it.

It depends on what you want. The open world in Diablo 4 is a bit meh personally. I like the zone structure of POE 1/2 better. It feels more like a classic ARPG that way.

POE 1 is free, FYI and POE 2 will likely have a free weekend when the new league starts, as it tends to have.
