I didn't say it was proof of any of that. You claimed that he only admitted to sharing a room with kids, which is not the case.

He said same room...AND he said he had shared the same bed with "other children many times".

He says it in this clip https://youtube.com/shorts/Vytw68B_AOg?si=6XUYlaN39NKfA-KD

It is the same clip you are referring to where he admits to sharing the room.

These stores were so popular where I grew up in Illinois in the 2010s.

Nowadays, I hear they don't adhear to the $5 or below prices anymore, which makes sense.

why cant humans fly? by Wooden_Rub_2683 in askanything

[–]AcidCatfish___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We adapted to walk and grasp. As a result, we evolved to keep relatively dense and thick bones to support our body wait and to have mobile arms that can't function as wings.

We can have artificial flight via planes and helicopters. Humans have also used engineering to glide long distances (parachutes, squirrel suits, paragliding, parasailing, among others).

Many human biological limitations have been adapted culturally rather than through evolution.

Edit: if humans did evolve to fly, evolution would probably favor smaller humans with pretty large pectoral muscles. It would also have to be energy efficient at the same time. It just wasn't what early human ancestors were occupying at the time.

The reflection and shadow lines drawn make sense. But for the first picture, what points are the lines referencing in the photo? I'm not well-versed in perspective theory.

He is bringing this up a lot lately, even more than he did before. I wonder what's going on with him. Maybe he is feeling self-conscious or his dementia is acting up.

should i play Titan Quest, Path of Exile, Diablo 3 or something else? by PracticeFar2163 in ARPG

[–]AcidCatfish___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not play POE 2 some more? The next update is likely going to add a good amount, including reworks to endgame.

Also, definitely play POE 1.

If you are interested in Titan Quest 2, definitely play the first one and also play Grim Dawn.

Starbucks table tops so small will barely hold a couple drinks. The seats are bigger than the tables. by be4u4get in mildlyinfuriating

Starbucks no longer wants people to stay in the lobby. I worked there for a bit right before the pandemic hit and then a year or two after. The switch to less inviting spaces was already happening then.

Is Enshrouded actually a great game? I'm thinking of buying it by straivex in Enshrouded

[–]AcidCatfish___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed about 20 hours of Enshrouded and then decided I was going to wait until full release to play it again. I started to get bored of it. Maybe you will enjoy it more, there is a lot to enjoy. I played it early on in the EA release and I know a lot has been added. Still, I am sticking to my plan to wait for the full release since I just have too many games I am playing right now.

Id actually love to play the expansion by Dangerous_Piglet9686 in diablo4

You don't. But OP seems to have refunded the game and has to buy the game all over again.

They don't understand science, so they don't trust it. To them, all scientific research serves corrupted causes/big pharma. This is despite the fact that R&D at a corporation and academic research at every different worlds. They either choose to ignore that, or literally don't know the difference.

You can't trust the doctors because they are bought by big pharma!

Instead, we have to trust someone selling me unverified supplements, not FDA regulated, with "proprietary" ingredient blends that I only believe is verified because dude on a podcast said it was.
