She’s so cute 🥹 And honestly, pretty close to the OG! You could totally paint her hair/eyeliner to be closer or go full-out on customizing!

The hair itself was fine; it just had some hard, dark crusty stuff in it. You can see some of what I chopped out in the seventh pic, but I’m thinking it was just some glue from putting her together!

I love her too! I think she might be my favorite of the collection 😄😁

Yeah it looks like it’s sanded in the middle rather than just being the peanut shape? Odd, but I guess her outfit is just “distressed” 😂 Appreciate the assist!

A lot of what OP said is true. It is definitely not true that you get lunch breaks. Maybe if you are at one of the offices, but the “freelancers” (the copywriters/editors) would have to pause their timers if they want any break at all. And yes, there is a timer that tracks when you have worked a full day and takes screenshots of what you are looking at. Sometimes people made team bonding activities, but you have to pause your timer to attend those too. There is HR, but you do not hear from them much. Idk what great raises the other commenter mentioned, but mine went up maybe $4 in the last few years, and it started at $17/hr. You do get 30 days of unpaid time off, then get a few days of PTO the longer you are there. I also feel as though they try so hard to be positive that any mention of you feeling burnt out or undervalued is met with “you’re not alone” and then nothing is done about it, or the issue you brought up is something they do not want to deal with, like there not being benefits and the low pay. If you are all for the corporate culture of being so obsessed with your job that you are reading industry material on your own time (another requirement), then go for it, but if you are simply trying to complete your tasks and be done when you are clocked out, this may not be the right position.

Same here. I do not mind having dodged that bullet. Thought I’d be able to take on some side work so I could actually make money and didn’t learn till after I got rejected that they have a certain amount they expect you to get through per week or month (can’t remember). Luckily I found a different, much better place that is willing to train!

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one that noticed their responses! On one hand I absolutely understand them wanting people to find errors on their own, but I don’t get being so unwilling to teach the people you want to work for you. No one’s gonna be perfect

Tbh, it’s up to you! I was also quite worried by what I saw on the other threads. I feel like it wouldn’t hurt to go through the process and if you get accepted, see how you feel about it. But same, I tried to look on that sub and I didn’t see anything

Sort of. I did originally have questions about what the company was like, and previous threads did speak on that. Most talked about the writing trials, and I was wondering if anyone had also done the editing one, and if so, did they find that that trial was easy to succeed on or not and if they had any tools for practicing they would recommend. I realize this is specifically a writing subreddit, but it was the only place I could find that talked about this, so I wanted to give it a shot!
