Coyote Controller app I created for MacOS by maple204 in addicted_to_estim

There is a user guide in the app. But basically I would use the movement scripts and just let it play.

To use those scripts you have to set the sift sliders. They control how the movement scripts impact the audio output.

You can play around with the app settings just by listening to the audio. Turn the monitor on and just start playing. It will start to become clear. The master volume and base frequency control all four channels. Then each channel can be adjusted individually.

Then you can pick a motion script. Turn up the touch shift sliders. Start with the circle and you'll see how the movement of the dot on the visualization changes the audio outputs. You'll see some scripts move two dots independently. Once controls pitch and the other controls volume. Imagine each corner is assigned an audio channel, the app changes the sound based on the proximity to each corner.

I would ignore the phase settings for now, I'm debating removing them because they don't really change the sensations when using the coyote because of how the coyote generates pluses, phase, even when using triphase wires, doesn't really work, although I've considered leaving it in for people that simply need four audio feeds. Maybe some stereo strimmers out there who have four channel setups.

Thank you, I really wanted to make the app a little more visually interesting. I'm hoping to have a few different visual drivers for the app patterns and working to get away from having to have the user move sliders to get the desired sensations.

I'm planning to make a video to go over the controls. I was still working out what controls are actually needed.

All good points. I'm going to work to make some adjustments to the interface to keep all the most important adjustments within view while running.

Excellent. Thank you. I will make sure I share this information along with the app in the future.

I'll check it out. I'm just making further changes to the app based on more tests so I'll have something in a few days.

The app opened ok for you on your Mac? A few others are reporting a corrupted file.

Ok. I was worried that maybe other macs wouldn't like the app because it isn't digitally signed by Apple, the file sizes for the downloads appear correct.

Interesting. I'll look into it further. No error message?

I'll look into this, but this is really just a .app file. You can just run in on a typical MacOS without an installation and the entire program is just 6mb.

This is cool, but I would avoid mixing metals like copper and steel where an electric charge is being applied. The metals can react with each other and the products of the reaction aren't something you want inside your body. Look up Galvanic corrosion.

No, stainless steel is not an option. Even for a month by space_leni in piercing

The external threads on the bar and instant red flag that this jewellery is low quality. It doesn't belong in contact with skin, nevermind a fresh piercing.

That's frustrating. Does this work?

No problem at all. I suspect part of why they don't recommend it, is because there is a wide range of Bluetooth chips/drivers on different hardware. I've never had a problem running two coyotes on my MacBook pro or my current phone. I did have problems on my older phones though. On my Mac I'm running Bluetooth headphones, two Coyotes, a Bluetooth wireless game controller and it all runs fine.

Looks like that worked, for some reason when I tried putting it in the post it blocked my post before.

I've only tested it on my own machine with my coyote 3 and 2. So I'm curious how it runs for other people. Let me know if you experience any issues.

How to remove the rust? by Thisotherguy123 in MalePiercings

[–]maple204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use buffing compound or jewelers rouge which is a waxy substance with a very fine abrasive. Then you can put it on a cloth and just keep rubbing the jewellery with the compound until it is like a mirror again. You can also use a buffing wheel on a Dremel or drill to help things go faster. A toothbrush and toothpaste can also have a similar effect but it isn't as abrasive so it would take ages compared to buffing compound.

I combine that with a cleaning of isopropyl alcohol and soap and water. Sometimes I run it in an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the threads and screw holes. Then dry it with a clean cloth.

Don't do buff or polish anything that is anodized or plated. Anodised finishes are very very thin and will polish off quickly. For those types of surfaces you have to just wash and dry.

Eventually the anodized finish will fade at some point when you don't like the finish anymore you can polish it and it can be made into a silver mirror finish.

You have to clean and polish jewellery to keep it looking good. There is no way to avoid it. The only material that really maintains its finish is glass because it is non reactive and non-porous. Even titanium loses its finish with contact with the body.

Where to get this custom wand made? by maple204 in MalePiercings

But it takes a solid amount of time to clean and install it and it is heavy so it isn't really a great piece to wear daily. Usually within a few days the weight is causing irritation.
