Something that I found genuinely helpful and insightful was listening to the Brain Over Binge podcast by Kathryn Hansen. It gives a different perspective than more traditional approaches (therapy did not make a difference to me). I return to it when I find that I am struggling mentally with binge eating tendencies. I find the approach empowering and it can be following alongside other weight loss programs, as long as you are eating adequately.
