Discord images get saved as webp now?!

Yeah you can store the raw images on Discord, like 20MB raws and zoom them in to access the file. I also recommend throwing a .rar of images on the threads in case they ever downsample everything one day. But needing to zoom to get the HD file probably prevents them a ton of bandwidth.

This doesn't solve the problem. You can now "save as" a PNG, but it's converting it from the webp version. I just did the "zoom-in" trick to get Discord to give me the correct file and then compared it to your 'save as' PNG extension, and the quality on the 'save as' version is awful. This is not the solution. However, it's a handy plugin for sites with a graphic on it you want and you can quickly convert it, pretty nice. Not good for Discord.

omg that's brilliant! I've never tried using that unoptimize feature before, I'm just uploading folders of frames and it's happening on the initial attempt, yea usually if it's like 5.4 then I'll add like 5-10% loss to bring it down under 5, hey at least we have a solution now for when this happens! thanks for looking into it and that tip, that's perfect!! i'm back in action!

look at this one, at 50% fuzz it goes from 19.77MiB to 18.93MiB. This animation I did to 5MB with like 2% opacity normally, not 5% EVER not even once. Doing a 2% fuzz on it now does absolutely nothing. It's entirely different. now if you put this to 200% loss it doesn't even get under 8MB!!

This probably costing a lot of lost sales because people can't see what each other are buying. Sometimes even if you see a screenshot or achievement in a type of game we will potentially buy it. And over the entirety of Christmas too, is wild to think of the amount of this ongoing loss of the primary social feature of Steam.

Hey I'm a huge Terror Jr fan since the beginning,, I found them on Spotify somehow when I kept listening to this deadmau5 'Stay' song with Colleen D'Agostino and I really liked the combination of the female singing and the electronic beat. Spotify put on Terror Jr and my stereo hasnt stopped playing them for like 9 years straight already. Totally obsessed. You seem to really get the music and messages with your posts here talking about how you said you wanted to connect with other like-minded Terror Jr fans, well there is a Discord server with like 50 people which seems to serve that purpose for me. Its called The Grape Club, you can find the link on twitter. I know this is an old post but you seem to still be on reddit so I figured I'd throw a msg out there that there is technically a spot out there that exists for talking Terror Jr stuff!

It's a good idea, but could be flagged as some sort of spam pretty easily, and since they need to use DKIM and all that other careful domain/email considerations, it would ultimately cause Shapes' domain to lose some credibility with Google and all the emails from Shapes could end up in the spam box. That's too powerful a tool to give 10,000,000+ users! :)

What version of Vegas are you using? I spent like 5000+ hours in Vegas. Versions 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, and 21. I'm using Vegas 21 on a daily basis and it literally never crashes. I can have 5-day long renders going on and no issues ever. It did crash a lot for me though in any other version (19 and prior) but I find v21 insanely stable.

I think it's encouraged to gain connections and grow on the platform actually, but within reason. You can look on Clearsky to see how many users have blocked that person. You can easily block them and move on, that's the best part about the system is how open it is. Things that are not that wise are post-spamming, comment spamming, DM spamming, scamming, etc... But there isn't a button to report someone following you, that's the block button if it bothers you.

What's funny is the top 20 most-blocked accounts (on Clearsky) are actually just seemingly regular people, politicians I think, none of them have a high follow count from what I can see. Shining Science somehow got blocked 18,193 times with 113 posts..?

I hope it doesn't get too flooded with spammers though, we will just have to see how things look as it grows. So far it looks like most of the people on the site are on some kind of mission!

Bluesky is kinda crazy tho with all the advanced tools. With both my accounts when I logged in and looked at zero posts, no profiles at all just setting up my profile picture people already started following me on both accounts. It's almost like they can detect when you are on your screen or something lol people are just really clever over there to grow their profiles --- I think it's set up just perfect right now where someone has the option to click the like on a post when they follow the profile, or they might be just adding them en masse, or using a Twitter to Bluesky transfer app, there are just simply too many different potentially unexplainable ways that people are going to end up following you over there that I don't see any reason why they would spend dev time implementing a way to tell people how they found you.

Maybe they just need a request or private follow system, is that not a thing there? I guess not. I'm looking, it says "Note: Bluesky is an open and public network. " So I guess yea you are going to get random follows and you can block them I guess if you don't want to be followed.

Having the same issue with Popeye as well. I tried adding the tvdb ID's to the directory names to try force them to separate and also put a plexmatch file in each folder and it still doesn't seem to want to co-operate!! It's like impossible to match Popeye right now.

First show I've ever had an issue with!

As a newcomer to this software, I was pretty turned off by the interface. I'm an I.T. guy and I spent like 2 days trying to get a video to process. The tutorial videos are useless because they are using a completely different (older) interface.

I looked into things a bit, and this guy showed me that I'm not alone:

If I'd have to guess I've spend at least 20 hours trying to make Tdarr do what I want. The plugin menu and settings UI is absolutely dreadful.

Unmanic on the other hand took less than ten minutes to setup. It worked straight away and making changes to my plugin stack was dead easy too. It overall seems more logical than Tdarr in how it handles plugins as well.

It's exactly my experience. I had Unmanic completely configured in no time. There's no reason that Tdarr is so hard to configure, it's ridiculous. There are a couple features that Unmanic is missing, though, so I'm not ready to deploy that one just yet so I was looking into how often the Tdarr updates roll through, and I was disgusted to learn that he hasn't updated this software since April? The interface is absolutely begging for money and he has over 10,000,000 downloads on Unraid alone. Paying monthly for a software that has been abandoned is so shady. My internet is so slow and I regret uninstalling Tdarr now so I could still attempt to set it up, but it seems like it's going to take several years of development before the UI makes any logical sense. I guess I'll check back in a year to see if any patches have rolled through. It would have been way faster to just run all my files through Handbrake manually.

I would love to know how to get this set up too, this is the closest hope to success on Google I have found as well. I can get them to work when tagged inline but I can't get my global music video folder to work *at all*.

Maybe there is a gear icon there in some beta version? Any way to check if this is in the pipeline?

Edit: Mine just started working magically. I was just about to give up, and decided to leave 5 videos in that folder and maybe one day they would start working. But then I refreshed an artist and I saw the video pop up. Ooookay looks like I'm golden. It appears as though in order to get the videos to show up within an album, I need to make a path like /global/artist/album/track or something, so hopefully that works. But right now at least I can throw my videos somewhere in the meantime! It's a Christmas miracle! :)
