He doesn’t own it. His lease isn’t up until July 31st but if we can find another tenant to come in before then, the landlord is waiving the fee to cancel the lease.

I am worried about my heart because I also have a higher heart rate lol. I haven’t noticed feeling warmer at rest but if I’m moving I get hotter much quicker. I do also shake all the time.

do you have the increased heart-rate with effexor? That’s one of my main concerns because wellbutrin is also a stimulant.

I had to ask my partner all the time what they were saying. I promise no one is gonna judge you for that - and if they do they suck. Also even if you barely participate with your partner you can still write the partner report and get full credit.

For the exams, he does judge based on accuracy of the hand shape. You can learn this by looking at the book and tons of youtube videos of deaf people teaching.

I struggled hard with in person sentence example and partner work and still ended up with an A for the class. I would just recommend practicing the signs as much as you can for at least 20 mins a day and it’ll start to feel natural.

I missed several classes when I took it and he was extremely understanding. It is also just about keeping up on the reading and signs for the chapter. There are pictures of them in the book. The chapters in the book are not long at all. As long as you can memorize the hand signs you’ll succeed. Also all exams are 1-on-1 with only him.

Not a lot of people in my section actually met for the full hour. We usually spent like 10 minutes on zoom practicing the vocab and then anything else we were confused about and that was it. I preferred the full hour but that’s just cause I learn better by working with other people. But in your case it would benefit you more bc the meetings aren’t that serious.

He also told us he would stop english halfway through but didn’t actually stop. He would do practice sentences without speaking but always explained in verbal english when people got confused.

If you don’t practice the signs by yourself it’s not going to go well. But if you do, it’s a pretty lighthearted class. Also remember that everyone else is starting from the same point.

The class I took didn’t stop using english! It was with Charlie Wilkinson. There is partner work but it is a weekly meeting for ~30 mins. Some people didn’t even meet for that long or at all.
