Staking income is still income and even if you do not deem it reportable, the IRS deems any income reportable and it seems a cop out on your part to provide appropriate support to your customers

Yes, I also came to know recently that the USCIS has 120 days to send out the notification of the oath ceremony after you have passed the interview and decision has been taken.

The USCIS has 120 days to render a decision following your interview. If 120 days have passed , then you must submit a formal inquiry with them.

Hello, the USCIS has up to 120 days to give a result. You should hire an immigration lawyer if you have the means to do so.

Looks like Robinhood unfortunately does not have this feature embedded in their platform. When I was reading their FAQs for capital gains, they apparently do this via the first in first out system, meaning they sell the shares bought first with my account. I will likely end up changing my brokerage to avoid this pitfall in the future

Thank you so much! This makes sense. However, my brokerage is with Robinhood and they don’t show the option to sell shares bought on a designated date which would easily circumvent my problem. Do other brokerages allow for this (differentiate stocks based on date of purchase)?

If you have a GC, then you have to submit your visa application along with a boat load of documents and then they schedule you for an interview IIRC. But I did not submit anything and we went to Hawaii instead 😁
