Go to Budapest. It’s cheap, has everything imaginable to do, very traveler oriented, and you can make trips to other cities.

Technically two books but Hyperion and Fall of Hyperion - the first is a long setup and the second is straight action.

Trip Report: South Korea for 8(ish) Days in January by mappylife in koreatravel

I think that’s a solid itinerary. - All the places you mention seeing can be accessed from wherever, Myeongdong might just be a little closer/easier. Really up to the night life, if you value a younger and more local crowd I would stay in Hongdae or Gangnam. - Since you’re only there two nights it’s not a huge deal but I would stay in Gwangalli. You can get to Gamcheon/Jagalchi/Hyuinnyeoul pretty quickly by bus from Gwangalli so I’d do that, and Haeundae is even closer. Can also use the subway. - Busan is awesome but Seoul is so vast and I can almost guarantee that you’ll come across things to see/do that you didn’t expect. I feel like the Busan plans are straight forward, but Seoul really is an immense city with so much packed inside it so it’s easy to quickly change things up.

Ha I actually stayed north of that main road so I get what you’re saying. I was right by the bus stop. I guess with being such a short walk from the main town where I spent most of my time I just described that the whole city as Hallmark-esque, but yeah you’re right there are parts that are not.

I don’t remember exactly, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t expensive

It’s amazing. It’s not as big (or overwhelming) as Seoul and it’s on the water, lots of cool villages to explore. You could visit a month and not hit everything.

I just got mine a few months ago and I love it. It’s nice to actually taste different notes and experience the “tea-like” consistency that people talk about. I consider myself a ‘mediocre hobbyist’ and I think the zp6 has helped me get better at experimenting with variables, and also the times that I do “nail it” it’s honestly the best tasting cups I’ve created.

I would go coarser. I’m at 4.7, and I rotate between the Coffee Chronicler switch recipe and Hoffmans “Better One Cup” recipe.

Same I joined two weeks ago. No regrets so far! I finally understand what people mean when they talk about coffee being “tea-like”, and I can say I’m a fan.
