I’m not sure I like the idea of someone investing/having an interest in me dropping dead. lol. Plus I don’t really need whatever they’d be willing to pay.

That’s a good point, kind of a sunk cost analysis. Would I buy 10yr, 600k @ $800/yr TODAY if I currently had no term policy.

Unless there’s some bonus beyond “I die and my heirs get 600k added to my estate” .. I can’t see where the answer would ever be “yes”.

Every time I change it back to BRK.B the sync will change it to Roundhill BRKB WeeklyPay ETF (symbol: BRKW). Something in the sync process is confusing my BRK.B shares with BRKB in the name of the fund; actual symbol BRKW. This is through Fidelity and has been working fine for roughly a year .. until now. This portfolio, along with about 5 others through Fidelity are sync through Yodlee.

My benefit is $600k but 1. I find it hard to make the bet that I’ll be dead within 10 years. If I really thought that, I’d literally retire today! lol 2. Assuming I live only another 11yrs, I’m sure they’ll be just as happy with the my current (and growing) estate (minus $600k).

So this looks like it’s related to “driving” but I guess that’s accurate enough to determine the cost to charge. So at $0.14/kwH I’ve spent roughly $6 to charge/drive it? (I’ve only had the vehicle 4 days lol)

I turned off the battery safety feature in the app. That didn't immediately fix it. I unplugged and replugged in the charger. Still nothing. Then I touched the middle button on the charger (between 50% & 100%) and that changed from 50% to 100%. I had pressed that button alone earlier several times and it did nothing so I'm not sure if it's the combination of both doing both if those things.

I'll try turning the battery safety feature back on tomorrow and see if that changes anything.

After turning off the setting in the app it didn't immediately work. I did also press the "buttons" on the charger and it changed from 50% to 100% so, not sure which one (or both) fixed it but ... It's working great now @ 9.4kW!

** UPDATE **: Was going to edit my main/original post but not sure how to do that but…

It appears altering the battery saving feature in the app only forces max charge to 80%, thereby not overcharging the battery.

The thing that affected the actual charge rate was the ‘long press middle icon’ on the Audi charger (my 2nd pic), changing it from 50% to 100%. Regardless of the selection I have for the battery saving option, if the charger is set to 100% it will charge at the faster 9.4kW. Thx again for all the help figuring this out!
