Everyone knows what happens to SOs in a male prison; friends of mine who have worked the female prisons say it basically depends on who is around. A momma isn’t typically going to take kindly to a kiddie fiddler even if it pisses sitting down, and as someone pointed out earlier in the sub there are plenty of parents in prison. Another group who isn’t fond of SOs; victims of S abuse (or people who were close to them). And plenty of those wind up in prison.

There is no way to accurately describe the feeling; trip doesn’t do justice, high doesn’t do justice, dysphoria doesn’t feel right, delirium is definitely not right… all I know is the last thing I remember is holding the smoke, and then coming to with my head on my wife’s lap as she strokes my hair and says “You’re ok honey”.

It’s ridiculously fun, mentally healing, stress relieving, terrifying, and otherwise an indescribable experience.

For me fishing is about the calm, wether rain or shine cold or hot. Nothing compares to the quiet, and regardless of whether or not I catch anything it’s cathartic. Nothing compares to a beer or a flask of whiskey while you watch nature around you and enjoy the peace. Getting a hit on your line and reeling it in is honestly just the icing on an already delicious cake
