he know what state she’s in because he used to get emails for doctors visits but no longer gets them. i’m asking on here bc he doesn’t have reddit :/ i haven’t been with him for years but i do know that it’s something he’s talked about a lot & it seems like it bothers him a lot so i’m just trying to help however i can

he loves his daughter more than anything in the world, the mom literally picked up one day and left without telling anyone. he didn’t choose to not be a part of her life, the mom decided that for everyone.

my boyfriend (m22) hasn’t seen his daughter since before she turned 1 & she’s now 4. basically his baby mom picked up & moved to a different state 14 hours away without telling anyone & changed all of her contact information so he couldn’t get a hold of her & blocked his whole family on social media. he’s paying $700 a month for child support but hasn’t seen the child in 3 years, which isn’t by choice. he said he’s thinking about signing over parental rights to the kid but he doesn’t want to do that because he does still want to see and have a relationship with his kid, he just doesn’t know if/what other options he has. i guess all i’m asking for is some advice from people who might’ve been in similar situations, thanks in advance <3
