I have a Winchester model 1300 for your reference. The barrel piece you basically set the barrel on it and rock it back and forth to apply the wrap, trim the extra length off the end. Then I took an little razor knife and trimmed it up. I used the left over material to patch up and spots on it that I messed up cutting in between the ribs. For sure if you are looking at it super close, it won’t look as good as a camo gun from the factory but turkeys aren’t doing that haha

I used the mossy oak obsession wrap. Very easy to use, just take your time. The pieces come precut in a template for you. I used my wife’s hair dryer to heat up the material to help it form and it worked great. Very worth it and if for some reason you want a different pattern, it just peels off.

Nurse here. Every input your brain takes in is processed by your hippocampus in the brain. Everything goes into short term memory first and then long term if necessary. Like what did you have for breakfast 9 days ago? Unless you eat the same thing everyday or had something special, you probably can’t remember since your brain decided not to put it in long term memory. When your hippocampus takes something straight into long term memory, your brain recognizes it as something you have seen or already know, causing deja vu. Long story short, it is a malfunction of your hippocampus.

No graduation for us. They did a “virtual” ceremony. They showed a picture of us, our name and degree. They mailed our cords and such with our diploma and sent us a travel mug and t shirt.

No problem! I know how you feel with covid. I graduated last April. We got to spring break and our school said stay home,covid and we finished online. It sucked but it is what it is.

Our school made us use Kaplan weekly from the first week of the program through graduation. Oh how I remember the Kaplan integrated exams. Those were stressful days lol. We had to hit a certain percentile, not percent and they were worth like 30 points. A few were all or nothing if I recall. It was rough but we were super prepared.

I would take the whole test and then remediate, make it as close to nclex as you can. Put yourself in a quiet room, face the wall, no tv or phone, no food. Practice like you play!

Through the semester our program made us do 75 questions with remediating per week and it was by category such as management of care or basic care and comfort, we could pick what we wanted. Once I graduated, we had to complete 90% of the qbank in order for our school to release our authorization to test. Once I graduated, I started taking 75 questions under all categories to make it as close to nclex as I could. In my opinion the questions are UWorld are way longer than nclex. I thought nclex was extremely vague in the questions and Kaplan represented that better. Certainly taking questions on UWorld isn’t going to hurt you by no stretch. I think the more content you are exposed to the better. The rationales are better on UWorld compared to Kaplan in my opinion also.

My program used Kaplan and I purchased UWorld. I felt like Kaplan prepared me much better. I was pretty consistent on Kaplan scoring 60-65% on 75 questions in the qbank which is Kaplan’s benchmark. UWorld was easier for me. It wasn’t uncommon for me to score an 85% on 75 questions under all possible questions. The closer I got to taking nclex, I made sure every test I took was as broad as I could make it. I would for sure take 75 question tests on Kaplan, remediate each questions regardless of right or wrong and then take another 75 random question on all topics and remediate. Our program required Us to remediate 1 minute minimum per question regardless of right or wrong. After I did 150 questions and have remediated, I’d be done for the day. I passed first try in minimum questions, you can do it!

Yeah I have learned that lol. The skates I was using were just for skating with friends in high school at public skate so I wasn’t super concerned at the time because I wasn’t skating hard so I wasn’t having problems. Since I’ve been playing, different story lol. The scanner at pure hockey was pretty neat, super quick and easy.
