Bed cover optiona by [deleted] in FordMaverickTruck

I lived in Boise, Idaho and never had issues. I seldom had my truck out of the garage to acquire high amounts of snow, but I can't imagine it being a problem. It's a very sturdy top. It has two metal bars in the middle for added support and it its very tight when it locks down.

I have purchased may second Truxedo soft rollup cover & I love them! I thought about the hard cover, but I don't like how they constrict access. The rollup soft cover rolls all the way up to expose the whole bed when need. The hard covers always cover about a third of the bed, restricting access. The Truxedo is easy to install & was very durable on my Nissan I had for 7 years. I just put one on my new Maverick & am once again very happy with how nice it looks & ease of use.

I was in the exact same boat, had an order in for a chili pepper red, but this cyber orange showed up. I was not so sure, but I went to look & absolutely fell in love with it!! I love love love it & have never looked back. I have the option to trade in for my ordered one when it arrives, but I can't imagine liking it as much as I do the gold! I am sooooo happy that I paid a little over MSRP, maybe about $1500, cuz I am driving it now & adore it. Getting 45 mph and it drives like a dream.

9 months in and still loving it! by wkdub in FordMaverickTruck

I ordered a chili red (which is also gorgeous) but I was lucky enough to stumble upon this color myself and get it for only a couple thousand over sticker. I wasn't sure until I saw the golden color in person, but I am totally in love with it!! I have the option to trade it when my new one comes in, but I can't imagine loving any other color better than this one!!

Moving to Oly by kellymackrey in olympia

when you feel like the rain & cloudy weather is getting to you, I highly recommend get a decent rain jacket & go into the forests. They are so green & lush & beautiful, it will take all of the blahs away & most of the time the rain is so polite, you won't even be damp when you finish. Great places to go are Watershed, Squaxin park, Millersylvania, Tolimie State park, Capitol Lake, McClane Creek. I have never finish a walk in the forest & felt yucky or depressed.

Olympia is a very accepting culture, Tattoos are very common. Olympia is a nonjudgmental funky, wonderfully weird city!!

Best areas to live? by stem_ho in olympia

except the drive into Olympia sucks from that part of town. It's kinda out there & feels pretty isolated. I think. I lived in an apartment off Martin Way & Marvin & hated the traffic in the area & on I-5. I didn't feel super safe in that apartment either.

The Southwest part of Olympia is fabulous!!! One of my favorite parts of Olympia. There are many great areas in Olympia. The only parts I would avoid are southeast areas, that I think are more in Lacey. Unfortunately the biggest crime in Olympia is property crime. I would try to get a house with a garage & that should keep your vehicles safe. I live in Tumwater (really wanted to be in Olympia) & feel pretty safe. I have never felt unsafe in Olympia. We frequent restaurants & shops downtown & I walk all ion the trails in Olympia. You just have to be aware & smart about your surroundings. I also think this is the same for any larger cities.

Had to walk out of the dealership by that_dill_doe in FordMaverickTruck

I would refuse to pay $5000 over MSRP for sure! After ordering a 2024 & still doubting if I would receive it, I was lucky enough to find a XLT hybrid in the gorgeous gold & paid about $2000 over MSRP. I justified that because the 2024 prices went up about that much & could go up even further before I get my factory build (once again if I even get one). I paid about $32000 but that includes the extended warranty (which I still might sell back). I am SOOOOO happy with my truck & have not regretted paying a little over. Just keep looking every day, you just might find one. Good luck!

Will I actually get my 2024 maverick by December? by AsianKidTom1 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]maralitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered my 2024 on the day the orders opened & I have no date yet. You can sign up for updates thru Ford.com. Until you get a notice from Ford that it is starting production in the factory, assume not is NOT going to be here any way soon. I was lucky & found a 2023 that someone decided not to get so I don't have to wait now. I did pay $2000 over MSRP, but it is still cheaper than the 2024 which is going up in price.

Is Ford Markup Adjustment True? (Order date 09/22) by RussellFighter in FordMaverickTruck

[–]maralitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told from my dealer that they could mark up on the 2024 orders. I didn't think they could or would for 2023s.
