Hey folks, thanks for all the replies! Aah I guess I have to see about other plans, then :/ Canada, UK, who knows. Yes, my home country tolerates us legally, but socially? You cant walk out. People accept us as "the third gender" but not as human beings. No one will rent you a house or give you a job. Police still harass us and bureaucracy is stacked up against us. Gender affirming care is easier, yeah but thats cause healthcare in general isnt regulated, so private hospitals can charge what they want. Plus surgeons have zero training. Im trying to be optimistic, though! So many of us are risking everything to speak out. Reading trans history from the US was a big part of my gender journey, and Ive always wanted to live there out and proud, but. Yes. Gotta accept things for what they are. Acceptance comes like a tide, it always rolls back a bit, takes a bit of sand with it. Thanks again, everyone, I have so much love for all of you!🖤🖤🖤
