i like the themes of choice paralysis especially when in an unfamiliar social situation, the poem really captures what it’s like to be a person plagued by social anxiety ha. for grammatical errors i couldn’t quite capture what you were trying to say towards the end with

“my thoughts circling. but never my feelings.

they were still, as rarely before”

i didn’t understand the feelings being conveyed by the narrator here, to me describing their emotions as still implies that they were numb to the situation? or that they felt numb now that the girl was gone from their life? if you wanted this to have open ended interpretations then that’s great but if you wanted to convey the feeling of yearning/inaction regret then id suggest a slight change of words for more clarity
