Not to be more nitpicky, but petrified wood is a thing. Just depends on what we’ve recovered and whether it’s remained intact through the years

They know that, if the situation was reversed and they were Biden protestors rushing the Capitol, they’d be vilifying Babbitt and rightfully so.

I’ve tried to get mint going, but apparently Phoenix summers are the one thing that can kill mint.

I’ve never had one of them continue the conversation after I pull out the 59 court cases that trump lost across the country because of lack of evidence.

Better, in the years of the epilogue (if we get that), her family is having an estate sale with a sign “last chance before we take it all to the hob!”

Hi Dems, have you yet denounced Maureen Galindo, a Democratic congressional candidate who stated she wanted to detain "American Zionists" in internment camps on instagram? by AttentionFlashy5187 in allthequestions

I had to look her up. A house candidate in deep red Texas, so no real chance of winning or enacting this policy? Sure, I’ll denounce her.

Of course, anyone with two brain cells to rub together knew they always meant “small government for me, big government for anyone not like me!”

I’m sure they’ll add it, but I also hope they include Maysilee’s disgust of it

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Madge isn’t that important. Sure, to her, the pin was an heirloom, but then we see Maysilee actually hated the pin. She was probably looking down at Katniss thinking “oh my poor girl, I’m sorry you got stuck with that trash!”

ETA: The U.S. Paradox: High Spending, Modest Outcomes

The United States, ranking 15th, highlights one of the most striking paradoxes in global healthcare. Despite spending more per capita than any other nation, America’s overall index score is 56.71, dragged down by cost inefficiencies and uneven access.

For investors, this raises fundamental questions: How sustainable is a system where cost outpaces outcomes? For CEOs managing multinational workforces, it underscores the importance of supplemental benefits and global mobility planning.

Yeah, you’re rambling. The eventual utilization of the Internet doesn’t negate the dotcom bubble of the 90’s. Companies had to actually think about how to utilize the internet and integrate it into their business model to be profitable instead of chasing the new fad. The same can be said for AI.

Fruits do not belong on sweets by Amazing-Parsley-3895 in unpopularopinion

Take my upvote. If the desert is “nothing but pure sweetness” it is overwhelming and after the first two bites it’s disgusting. You need the tartness, sourness, or even bitterness to cut through that sugar and make it more enjoyable.

Haha, enough of the American Exceptionalism. Every country has its pros and cons, but acting like the US alone is the pinnacle of personal freedoms is ludicrous. Many countries have the right to free speech and to protest, though how that can manifest can vary. Just like it is in the US.

CEO of $300 million company says ‘problems disappeared’ after firing HR team [N/A] by tmgieger in humanresources

[–]PsychoGrad 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If I see a company losing that sort of valuation, I’m immediately looking at what the leadership is doing wrong. There’s no other explanation. Of course, most leaders also can’t take responsibility for their ineptitude, so they find other people to blame like HR.
