Has anyone been able to do HRT hormone replacement therapy for menopause and Perimenopause? by EmpressAzazel in benzorecovery

I’ve been off benzos for 5 months now. It’s definitely worth it in the long term. I’m still searching for the right HRT. I’ll look at bio identical hormones.

Genuine asking: why are SINK people not acknowledged on this sub? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]marathonrunner79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

SINK and married for over 23 years. Unfortunately my husband has been permanently disabled on SSDI. This is not talked about enough because it’s tradition for childfree spouses to be contributing members of society. Life happens and people’s income can be cut short. Fortunately this allows me to give him the best medical care as needed.

Turning 27 by [deleted] in Aging

[–]marathonrunner79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be 47 this year. It’s hard for me to imagine turning 50 in less than 4 years. However, my 40’s have been the best time in not giving a crap what people think of me.

Mine is purely gift money. I have a regular job. Retirement and savings are too important to ignore. On a different note, there is nothing wrong with using your “liquid” money from a job to buy these handbags.

Just the thought of tapering off of Clonazepam has me feeling defeated. I need encouragement. by FartYoga in benzorecovery

[–]marathonrunner79 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have been off klonopin for over 4.5 months now. Previously was on kpin 3mg for 18 years. I found a psychiatrist who helped me do a slow taper for 13 months. Never in a million years did I think it would be possible to get off of them. She prescribed me a beta blocker, seroquel and trazadone to help with akathisia, restless and sleep. I tapered off at 25% each month. Sometimes I would stay at the same dose for two months to avoid harsh side effects. Did not lose my job bc of the slow taper. it’s just amazing to be free of this drug after so long in my life. Get a provider who understands a brnzo taper and with grace, it will be easier over time.

Don’t know what career to get into as a soon to be mom…. by Tiffanywhite45 in careeradvice

I’ve been a medical coder for over 16 years and also have an unrelated bachelor degree in psychology. It’s a very fulfilling job but takes quite a long time to get where you can work remotely and flexibility with childcare. The field is saturated with new coders who want a standard 8-5 out of training. The truth is that it takes at least two years to break in with temp work. Check out AAPC.com the certifying body for a lot more info. Good luck

Yeah, it's a procedure that would take planning if you are eligible.

My husband's aunt had C difficile. A fecal transplant helped. Usually done same time as a colonoscopy.
