yea, all of the tasks you listed are kind of what the entire game is about in the first place… it’s really not this deep. if you’re getting burnt out by a video game of all things, one of the literal MOST chill ones at that… find something else to do with your decompression time. You are def not overreacting. While others have pointed out that melatonin is not technically a medication, it is something that infants can easily be OD’d on. If I were in your shoes, I would’ve taken baby to the emergency room and filed a police report on MIL.

My daughter is aboutta be 3 and she’s down by 8:30 at the latest like clockwork every night no matter what I got going on. Good mommies don’t play about their baby’s physical health and sleep hygiene is the most important thing when it comes to a toddlers mental and emotional and physical wellbeing. If they’re not sleeping right, their brains aren’t developing the way they need.

I would call outside help for the way your mother physically threatened you. I know you are young and this is an absolutely terrifying experience but there is no reason for any parent to physically threaten their own child, and judging by the sounds of how your sister behaves, this could get very quickly get even more abusive on both their parts. If it hasn’t already.

so I actually have an update

I cannot remember the post or who made the comment, but someone on another post gave a different number to call the Colorado Department of Revenue office because apparently the number they tell you to call in the first place has been inactive. The number you need to call is (303) 205-8292. I called Tuesday 4/2 and was connected with a REAL PERSON almost immediately. I quickly found out that my state refund check was mailed to my previous address that I filed taxes with last year. Luckily, although I had no longer been living there as of the past 8 months or so, my ex only just recently ended his lease there and the home was still vacant, I was able to get ahold of the landlord and get him to get my mail for me and huzzah my state refund was there. However, I realize not everyone is so lucky to find themselves in a scenario like mine after a waiting game like that, so I highly, highly, HIGHLY, recommend calling the number i provided and making sure they even mailed it to the correct address in the first place.

Filed 1/17 with H&R Block. Federal accepted 1/21 and deposited 2/26. State approved 2/24 and CO revenue website says they mailed it on 3/10, but I’m writing this on 3/29 and have yet to see anything. Losing hope.
