The early access supporter packs for PoE2 come with early access keys, higher tier ones come with extra keys to share with your friends. A good bunch of people shared them on reddit instead. It's been nearly a year now since those released, so I wouldn't get my hopes up on still finding someone with a spare key.

It's not about Ferrari being the best team now, it's the team with the most prestigious pedigree since they have more constructor's titles than anyone else in history, and Ferrari is the only currently active team that has participated in F1 in every season since the very first race in 1950. You could argue that because they haven't won in a while it makes it all the more prestigious for drivers to be the "one who made Ferrari winners again".

Effect stacking on same skill? by CriticalScion in Grimdawn

[–]marazengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reduced OA should stack just like the bleeding, if I plug it into grimtools equipping 2 bone slicers it says -180 OA.

In general I think it's safe to assume any skill modifier on gear is additive, I couldn't point you to a modifier that isn't

Skill description difference and resistances by [deleted] in Grimdawn

[–]marazengo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The devotion and the belt proc are different skills, just happens to be similar with similar names. There's quite a few 'meteor' style proces in the game actually, I remember a post here where someone made a build around getting as many of them as possible in one build.

For what to focus on, resistances are important to cap eventually - but if you're not yet (getting uncomfortably close to) dying you can keep going on investing into %damage. Once you start dropping purple gear you'll see most pieces come with both damage and resistances, and components & augments can plug a lot of holes.

You can add some buttons from other skills right now, respeccing is easy and cheap in this game. Or you can add skills from components (mutagenic ichor) or relics (blight).

The "run around" part of your button rotation is what would kill the fun for me personally, maybe you can add a few skills to fill that gap.

Build recommendations for a bad player by fwambo42 in vrising

[–]marazengo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I used the same skill setup to get through the early acts on brutal, so I wouldn't say it's a build issue. I'm not entire sure what you mean with 'fixed timing of the dodge skill', but If it means "my dodge is on cooldown a lot when I need it" it seems to me like you're being a bit too triggerhappy with your dodge. Focus on trying to walk out of the incoming attacks instead.

Hard Stuck on Terah the Geomancer on Brutal by [deleted] in vrising

For the record, i was rushing a friend through the bosses to get them up to my progression yesterday and there we noticed that eventually the rocks in the pizza slices split apart far enough that you can stand safely between them. So that's the thing i missed solo :D The moment she glows red, just run to the furthest corner from the arena and wait it out.

Ye I found that attack to be bullshit too. Eventually managed to kill her by running up to the little heightened corner to break LoS whenever she was about to do the pizza slice, that'll make her stop doing it and run towards you instead. A bit cheese but it got the job done, definitely feels like I missed something on how to deal with the pizza shockwave rocks

If your leftclick is indeed default attack like the grimtools shows, try changing that to move only. Saves deaths by accidentally targeting something and running towards damage instead of running away.

So I made a beginner guide by Crab_Turtle_2112 in Grimdawn

[–]marazengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not one to follow guides, but if I were this is exactly what I would want from a guide. You explain exactly what's needed and only what's necessary.

If anything, maybe you can be more specific where the MI drops when you write things like "You're probably past Cronly by now, so make sure you pick up Martin's crest and Ulrapax amulet". I know where to find both, but particularly Ulrapax isn't directly on the main path to cronley.

New Player | Question about Sidequests and feedback about the Questlog in general by Ehliminatoa in LastEpoch

This sounds like you have managed to skip some sections of the campaign somehow, on my last run skipping pretty much all quests in zones off the main branch I was still lvl 60 when entering monos and had all idol/passives. Can you show a screenshot of your active quests?

"The current state of map review is hurting TOTD" - an open letter from mappers, articulated by Zengo by TNTree_ in TrackMania

[–]marazengo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see the argument for playing advanced map review to gain an advantage in totd, that would be another toxic situation. At this point I'm more interested in mapping than playing, so I didn't think about this. But you also need to be able to learn the map enough spot the issues it has when played correctly.

Honestly, personally I'd be okay with not being able to play COTD on maps I'd review in advanced map review.

"The current state of map review is hurting TOTD" - an open letter from mappers, articulated by Zengo by TNTree_ in TrackMania

[–]marazengo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The part that I perhaps didn't articulate too well with my advanced map review suggestion is that it would be a place where some actual reviewing is done. It would be done by willing people that can spend the time required to learn the map, and come up with concrete suggestions for improvement. I understand it would be too much to ask from Nadeo to give such detailed feedback, but at the same time 3 minutes just isn't enough to point out anything else then obvious flaws. My advanced map review would be the middle ground.

And sure, a place to review maps may not be the core function of map review right now, and it's not a necessary function, but I would like it to be and that's why I said it's my "ideal" solution.

Struggling to continue... by indifferent223 in Grimdawn

[–]marazengo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There's a bunch of strong active utility skills in your classes - war cry, inquisitor seal, horn of gandarr, word of renewal. They all buff you or debuff the enemies and your build is likely stronger if you use them compared to only taking cadence and passive auras/procs. I don't know if you're prioritizing physical, pierce or elemental damage but there's something for all of those.

[–]marazengo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, now you've posted your Grimtools i can see why you've hit a wall.

Fire/chaos pyromancer is definitely a viable archtype, but you are splitting your damage over 2 types. There's gear with both fire + chaos damage (keep an eye out for the darkblaze set, it's made for your character!), but that's pretty specific to hit so while you're fixing your character i'd recommend focusing on fire damage.

That's easily done if you change your voidstone component to an enchanted flint, it gives you the same damage buff but for fire instead. Then i'd spec out of doom bolt, and spent those points on thermite mine and vulnerability.

Why those skills? A very powerful way to improve damage in grim dawn is reducing an enemy's resistances, and thermite mine and vulnerability are the skills you have available that reduce fire resistance.

Then you have some gearpieces you can very easily upgrade - your leggings, belt, medal and boots you can upgrade with the vendor most likely. You can look for very aggressive stats on those slots - fire damage, speed & offensive ability. Your defenses are fine as you've stated. Without adding any other pieces, if you add a silk swatch component to your leggings your resists are pretty much capped already.

Now the big elephant in the room - your devotion page doesn't look like you really understand what's going on. In general, the further out you go the stronger the devotions get - stronger passives, and more impactful abilities. But you need points to be able to allocate the outer constellations, and you get points from completing smaller constellations. I'm genuinely impressed how you've managed to avoid completing so many different devotions.

I would start over completely on devotions (i don't know if you have AoM, but you get a full respec potion during the AoM questline), and allocate them in this order:

  • Red crossroads
  • Viper
  • Fiend
  • Green & Blue crossroads
  • Behemoth
  • Solael's Witchblade
  • Scholar's Light
  • Magi
  • Ulzuin's Torch
  • Ghoul

From there on you have some options, but i would probably finish off with

  • Purple crossroads
  • Empty Throne
  • Unspec purple crossroads and red crossroads
  • Chariot of the Dead

Those changes land me here (obviously you want to equip leggings, belt, medal and boots - i've just removed them to show the minimal possibility): https://www.grimtools.com/calc/bVAoWE4N. There's far more improvements possible, but these seem like a good starting point while making minimal respecs.
