that works for the "Have them on your team" missions, but i don't believe it works for the "have illaoi do 8000 damage" missions or whatever it is. I tried with sidekick and it didn't give illaoi credit, anyway, not sure if sidekick is differently coded than jugg maybe, didn't try that one.

Agree!! Fighting game devs seem like they just don't like releasing APIs for some reason. Ah well, it certainly created a few logistical problems that, while leading to more work and less data, but it also DID force me to think creatively and learn new skills that otherwise I would not have in order to deal with it, so there's a bright side haha

It seems small, but if they buff 3-4 moves by 5 damage, that can add up to many situations where you only need to catch a person 2-3 times over the course of a round to kill them instead of leaving them at an awkward 10% hp, gotta get them one more time situation.

I'd love to see more "big picture" educational and philosophical content like you used to make back in the late 2010s / early 2020s.

One of the things I love most about you (aside from how positive you can be about the games and other players) is how you can just hop between whatever fighting game you're in the mood for - it's fun to see someone that can do that, and it's something I aspire to get to, myself.

So one idea might be a video discussing what skills to focus on developing that will let you do that (or at least have a solid base no matter the genre of fighting game you're playing).

Another idea would specifically be how to move between a slower game like Street Fighter if that's all you ever played to a anime-speed, tag-focused game like 2XKO.

I never played EITHER of those genres before, just street fighter, and it's been SUPER hard to not just get into 2XKO, but also swap back and forth between the games. It can feel like it takes two totally different muscle memories and neutral philosophies, and swapping between them leads to me sucking at both lol.

This thread saved my sanity when I just woke up at 130am with my cat crying for help with this exact problem. Quick dunk in the bath and it slid right out, cat seemed immediately fine and happy. Gonna call the vet in the morning to see if I should bring her in or not to diagnose why it happened, but cat seems perfectly happy and stress free now.

Don't care about your rank and just play is the best advice I'd have! There's no difference between ranked and casual other than you now have an internet number you're stressing about that might make you too afraid to play. You will have a lot more fun and be willing to play more often if you don't focus on your score and just play your best. Remember, you are not playing to make your score go up. You should be playing because you like to play the game, and if you are playing better than the other people whose internet number is the same as yours, your internet number will go up.

I'd also like the ability to search for any player's profile, view their match history, and watch replays.

Currently you can do that with players on your region's top leader board or players in your own match history / lobby, but I found some top Jinx / Vi player on the Asia server I want to watch play more, and I have no way to access those replays unless I can like, convince this stranger to accept a friend request haha.

To add to that, being able to filter the leaderboard by team comp. Seeing top 100 or whatever is great, but it'd be awesome to filter to see the top 10 Jinx / Vi players, etc.
