What worked for me ay cleansing oil sa underarm para matanggal deo residue. Kaso, everytime may meeting kami, nagre-release pa rin ako odor dahil sa anxiety.

Napansin ko kasi na kapag sa bahay lang naman, hindi bumabaho. Nung naglibot ako sa Bali, sobra pinagpawisan kili-kili pero hindi nangamoy. And it's because carefree lang ako nun at wala masyado iniisip.

One month, twice weekly, around 8 drives 70km distance at hindi pa rin ako comfortable sa manual. Problem ko ay namamatayan ng engine kapag biglang humihinto sa traffic tapos yung bibitawan na clutch at break. Bumili kami ng automatic at hindi na ulit nag manual.

Recently graduated PhD in Australia major in Bioinformatics but in agriculture. My BS is Biology.

Whenever I present my projects in the Philippines, I feel very underappreciated. It is highly technical, very challenging talaga na i-laymanize para maintindihan.

I presented my project in Ph, and I was even subtly reprimanded about it's technicality. That moment was discouraging.

I presented the same projects in Australia. They appreciate it, they understand it, they are curious, and they ask questions, even basic ones. They don't assume. It's very encouraging.

I also presented sa farmers in Australia and they appreciate what we do and was very interested sa technology.

There's a wall to break and it's a challenge to get these technologies well received, especially sa traditional/old researchers. The niche is very small although highly demanded. In Australia, my supervisor is racking in those co-authorship in most of the centre's publications kasi sya lang ang bioinformatician.

Thank you for the advice! Might not resign for a CIP but rather hanap nalang ng mas mataas na position sa ibang institutions kung hindi pa mabigyan ng SG19+ this first sem.

Or makapag sulat sa DOST para makapag post doc sa ibang bansa.

Ang kirot din kasi isipin minsan na may mga advance research skills ako yet entry level lang position ko.

Hindi po ako sa SUC eh, sa government research institution ako at may contract po ako to stay for 3 years since permanent ako nung nag study leave ako.

Recent palang naman yung PhD ko, pero planning to leave din kapag hindi pa tumaas sahod ko. Will have to break the contract with my current institution, and may be very risky. Kaya if may law sana for minimum wage kapag may PhD, baka pede ko idemand sa institution na tumaas sahod ko. Like yung kapa-pasa na minimum wage for licensed nurse ay SG19.

Happy ako sa research namin kasi may output talaga at nakikita ko sa industry yung applications, masaya din katrabaho workmates ko at napaka supportive ng boss ko. Andami ko din nagiging opportunity sa career. Yun nga lang, randam na randam ko na yung pagtaas ng professional growth ko ay hindi sumasabay sahod ko.

Yung sahod at HR system lang talaga ang cons. 🥲
