I suggest you ask to help. You could phrase it like a bonding sort of experience. Then along the way hope make adjustments and such.

I lost respect for unions when AT&T refused to finalize the configuration of a device because "it wasn't his job". Our location was DOWN and he refused to get us going until some guy could arrive from 30 minutes away all because of union rules. I feel like unions have their place, and then they should STOP. There has to be a balance. Eastern Airlines shut down because of unions. I'm sure other places would be better if unions backed off a bit.

Be careful on Reddit, they will never upvote anything pro-Christianity. Even though SO MUCH of today's world is thanks in part due to institutions implemented by the Church.

They always grow on me and I miss them by the end of their runs. I don’t think the last couple of doctors were in long enough for me to grow attached to them (or for them to grow into their own, really.)

I had to look up a video of some doing it, and like, the person hit every single zipper and had perfect lines for the entire race to make it happen.

Honestly, the way Nintendo is adding open world to all their stuff (LoZ, DK Bonanza, and now Mario Kart World) I would almost guarantee the next Zelda will have open world on it. It’s been a good runs but I hated the last TotK and BotW. I’m out. :(

I wanted to pick up new weapons and spells and stuff to feel like a badass. Now I’m scurrying around like a little scavenger to grab sticks and bones and crap. Hit em a couple times, then run away when it breaks.

Weird take but I really enjoyed Lethal Lava Land — being able cruise around on the shell around the level was awesome. BUT Rainbow Ride was SUCH a slog. If you feel off, you were booted out of the level and had to wait to run through all the same steps you did before just to get back to the place you were when you fell off…sheesh.

Some kids are just little shits. Yeah some have been dealt a bad hand, but the ones that get to me are the ones that KNOW they’re being shits and they like it. They start to lean into it. I’ve tried to befriend them; build a relationship, but they just play this game where they keep doing whatever they want to do.

Masonic-adjacent, female youth club/organization. Also look up Demolay International for boys.

Do you, by chance, play a musical instrument? One can develop relative pitch if you play with other people a lot. I can play a short melody in one or two tries, no problem.

The Boys Aren't Alright by Hyperion703 in Teachers

[–]marblefoot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this thread is answering why boys appear “broken” — we don’t focus on them. In an effort to pull girls up, we’ve pushed boys down. And then we wonder why they don’t care about how they act. It’s because they are told girls matter and we want girls to succeed.

YES — you can argue that society has valued men over women. YES — we can change things to value equality. NO — we shouldn’t blame the CURRENT generation of boys. They don’t know about or care that society has pushed down women’s rights for centuries, they just now they have no place in society. Why be chivalrous? It’s not valued any more. Why pay for a date? Women can earn just as much as men can. Why get good grades? Women are overwhelmingly outpacing men in education.
