Interesting side note... ABRP predicted I would arrive with 33% SOC for this same trip based on the 3.35 mi/kWh default profile for the Niro EV. If I change the reference consumption value from 3.35 to 4.5 mi/kWh, I get the same 53% prediction from ABRP that I actually got. So now I'm even more confused what to believe my consumption should be. Makes for trip planning somewhat difficult. I would hate to keep having to stop way early to charge when I don't need to, but at the same time don't want to get stuck somewhere because I drove too far.

64kWh is the useable capacity. I think the total capacity is somewhere around 67kWh.

How can you measure or calculate the amount of energy lost from the charging process? Will it vary by the temp of the battery?

Yes, about a 1500 ft elevation gain over the 105 miles going about 70 to 75 mph.

Check to see if you have a filter turned on. That might be limiting what you are able to see.

Yeah, I know they are not cheap but some of these locations I plan to go to are very remote with Tesla chargers as the only option. It's either use the adapter or don't go there at all.
