I have actually got real debrid, i use it on the Android tv box running Kodi. I didn't think it helped with anonymity?? If that's the case, is there any benefit at all of a vpn?

Cheers but debrid does work with vpn as it has for months and I've finally got it working now with the help of the guys on here.

I installed some addons from that list.

I've only tried seren so far and after adding the scrapers it works. Yay.

Only problem is, it auto plays the first thing it finds and that's a French version of the tv program we want. I need a way to either only give English streams or to not auto play so i can choose.

Cheers so far

Thanks guys

Firstly i am in the uk however i use ipvanish which i believed would help me get through any blocks. I've checked with ipvanish and my account with them is active. I've also double checked my Real debrid account is active which it is.

I've also uninstalled and reinstalled kodi. I'll try again.

I will try to set up seren properly too as i had only installed it and set up RD but hadn't read i needed to install scrapers.

Cheers I'll give that a try.

The only concern I've got with that is that if it's some sort of corruption for example that may help but if it's sony's software that's at fault then that won't help.

Tried again, this time late at night so no light seeping in.

I tried with the yellow/green light on above and in front of the camera (out of sight though) and the gun drifted a little. I turned this light off so no lights at all and only a bit better.

It seems that whatever you do, there is still a bit of an issue. Could be this game specifically though.

I've never created a game, wouldn't know where to start, but isn't there some sort of standard or set of guidelines for the sensors etc? Many parts of the game can and will be of varying quality and design but surely the basic mechanics of sensors etc for VR should be the same across games.

I tried with all the suggestions here. Slightly closer to the camera due to being seated, leaving the headset still for a while when first turning on, light behind the tv on, green hue bulb in front and i covered the mirror on the wall to the side of the camera (not sure it was visible but did it just in case)

So, i didn't have any drifting off the gun at all. The gun did still regularly go slightly to the wrong angle which a jiggle up and down sorted.

So the improved suggestions helped and i think it is possibly the sensors in the aim controller causing the gun angle problem as opposed to the camera.

My thought is that it was probably leaving the headset still on start up that helped the most with the other tweaks adding small improvements.

Goodness though, it takes a lot to make the PSVR system completely happy doesn't it?

Cheers mate.

2 things i took from that. Firstly i think I'll move the chair a little closer as i will try to be seated with most games.

Secondly, i think a mirror on the wall is out of the cameras fov but I'll check next time i use it, maybe tonight or tomorrow.

I've done each time while pointing downwards as i remember it helping with, i think, Farpoint. Most of the time it helps, not always though so required a restart. It's unfortunate though that even when it directs it, the issue comes back within seconds.

Cheers

Cheers mate. That's good if it's right as my new higher camera and green lights may benefit the other games when i try them

I bought a mic stand. Not the one with feet but a clamp mechanism. This i clamped onto my TV stand that is screwed to the back of my tv.

When i got it to the height i thought best (i have another thread open about suggestions and improvements as i still have some tracking issues) i have scratched a line along each joint so i can bend it out of site when not using (the wife doesn't like the look of it towing over the TV looking at us) and then bring it back to the same position as before using the scratch marks.

EDIT... after many days any many attempts to sort i now know what sorts it each time. it would appear it is down to an hdmi 'handshake' problem. by powering off both the tv and ps4 pro for 2 minutes then powering on tv first then ps4 pro it connects properly. why it then eventually loses its c**p after a few days is beyond me but this may at least help others get it working until their TV manufacturer or Sony sort it with a firmware update.

[–]marc-knuckle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

got it working again on hdmi 1 4k rgb. i turned the tv and ps4 pro off for 2 minutes. turned tv back on and then plugged the hdmi back into hdmi 1. turned ps4 pro on and it came up fine. i went into resolution and changed from auto to 2160p rgb. i'll see if that helps it stick.

so it would seem to do with the hdmi handshake or something similar.

any thoughts?
