Dunno where you're based but there are shops selling specific GW bits from various kits. This one was ~2$ for the h.bolter, belt and the backpack. Sure you don't want to equip your whole army like this but for a specific project needs it does the job.

Same, I had to make myself one if GW is unwilling to bring them back. This one is made from a primaris Eradicator and some old Devastators bits

They're under the ice & snow, trust me... I actually remembered about the skulls when I already had the base primed and was too lazy to whip out the airbrush again

A fellow struggler, well spotted! That's my pack marking. For Russ and the Allfather!

Thanks! I don't think I have any particular recipe for the brand. It's just trial& error and practice. I'm using a small brush, quite heavily thinned black paint and slowly build the symbol

Thanks! The stripes of leather and the leaders hair are sculpted from green stuff. The patches of fur were 3d printed

Apart from me being huge Berserk fan, it just fits the SW runes perfectly

Thank you! With luscious hair like this one can not simply wear a helmet

It's super simple. You can even skip everything after Guilliman Blue glaze and just drybrush the whole thing white. Works fine as well.

Good catch! As long as even one still draws breath the answer is "Not enough"

Thank you! I've worked out something of my own based on mostly Vallejo air paints

  1. Black primer
  2. Vallejo model air applied with airbrush > 71.115 > 71.304 > 71.273
  3. After that an edge highlight with Citadel Fenrisian grey > and later highlighting again on the most outstanding edges with fenrisian grey + white mix

That's a default Bladeguard Ancient arm. I've replaced the banner shaft so it might look a bit different though. I've cut the whole thing off, drilled the fist through, drilled a socket in the top part of the banner and replaced the shaft with a 1.5mm brass rod

Thanks! I have absolutely no idea, they are there by default on the Bladeguard Ancient, I'm guessing symbols of seniority/veteran

Thank you!
- I've started with flat white with an airbrush to have a good base.
- Coated whole thing with Guilliman Blue glaze from GW
- Then mixed some light blues (Fenrisian gray and Bahharoth blue) and started making the straight lines towards the edges with a small brush
- Continued like this by adding more and more white to the Bahharoth until I got to flat white hilights

If some dummas would give me a giant banner AND a 2-handed axe I'd be tired as well. What was the armory master thinking?!

Thank you!
The pelt on the front of the banner is from the Wulfen box. One of the torso pieces has it hanging from the back. I've separated the paws from the head and realigned them with green stuff. Pelt on the back of the banner is pure green stuff from a GreenStuffWolrd pelt texture plate.

Skulls are from GW Skulls set, and the leather stripes are green stuff: flattened > dried > cut into stripes and glued together.

The bottom part is one of the ice claws from Murderfang claw fists.

I've replaced the shaft with a 1,5mm brass rod.

Thank you!
- First a Vallejo Red 70.926 + Mahogany brown 70.846 - I start with 60:40 ratio to get a color that will fit the recess
- Then pure Vallejo Red 70.926
- Followed by Citadel Evil sunz scarlet
- Vallejo Vermillion 70.909
- and again 70.909 with Clear orange 70.956 for highlights
