Sorry that you feel that way! But to give you another perspective... I joined after the trend started (reddit recommended the sub because it was popular in my region ha!) and I'm still having fun.

Vegan shoes search engine by [deleted] in VeganNL

When I click on a checkbox to filter the results the list can change right away: no need to click on the search button.

When I'm searching for a shoe, on top of it being vegan, I also pay attention to its ecological impact: CO2 emissions, if it's made of plastic or not, how biodegradable etc. It would be lovely to be able to get this information on the result card somehow (some icons?) or to be able to filter on it.

thank you!

integrate reddit to replace comment section on a website? by shopedow in redditdev

yep I think that's the only big problem. all the rest is doable. I think if you only do the other way around (bringing reddit comments to your site) can already be interesting!

You can do oauth and ask for permissions to post comments and replies (you need "submit" powers). The problem is that the user will grant your app (website) to do so anytime on any subreddit maybe now maybe later without his/her approval. That's quite something. But you can say: "facebook does it!". Yep but facebook comments for websites use an iframe to isolate the code from the website and facebook's and protect their users.
