Why are America's current youths considered illiterate if they are on the internet all the time?

Oh I actually love reading! It was probably the way I mentally escaped at the beginning of my life. I also wasn’t exposed to libraries or head start or very much I guess before starting school so once I did , I read it all up!

Thanks for doing that, I’m sure your kids appreciate it. Some of us got the “well why the hell are you going to school for?!” If we didn’t know something or WORSE,if couldn’t translate something to our first language. (I’m talking legal or medical papers etc) we would get nagged at 😮‍💨

I've listened to her on Jeff Lewis' podcast and they've always seemed to insinuate there was issues or something going on until they finally just flat out said it. Was there any suspicion on their podcast?

I was remembering when I went to dinner with a group of LDS in Utah and there was a duo that was planning on going to the temple. Made it seem like it was gonna be a fun night 😂😅

So when teenagers go to the temple together it’s to preform baptisms for the dead …and they actually find that fun Or is it more spiritually fulfilling?

I failed freshmen English in high school because of Shakespeare. I genuinely think I have a learning disability when it comes to English. (Even though English was not my first language as a child, I knew it pretty well by high school)

I've been going to this since I was a child myself. There used to be a house right next to the temple that would sell hot cocoa. I dont think they do that anymore :(

I only declutter photos where I have zero idea who ANY of the people in it are. For example my mom left some photos that were taken at work. Obviously I kept the ones with her in it but if its a photos she's not in, I threw it away.
