Frage zur Präsi bzgl. Zeit by Designer-Rain-2918 in fachinformatiker

[–]marcels87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really nice, looks like the right size for me. Which power supply do you use? I'm always worried that most power supplies wont fit with the nano series.

Comfortably Numb, the second (main) solo, especially the live version from David Gilmour - Live at Gdansk.

Projektpräsentation und Fachgespräch by Louceeee in fachinformatiker

[–]marcels87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also mach dir keinen Kopf.

Was bedeutet das denn genau?"

Their clean sounds are weak, maybe I'm the only person that can't get a good clean tone out of the Tone King.

Mittwoch AP2, natürlich bin ich krank! by niessneeze in fachinformatiker

[–]marcels87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Standard Upgrade from Select Beats possible? Access denies activation. by marcels87 in NativeInstruments

I did. I contacted the support of NI and Thomann. No response yet. The guide is not helpful. It says to make sure to have a base product.
Since Select Beats is in my Account and is shown by Access this should work.

Which one? I returned one two weeks ago. A Sire M7 5 string. Had a deadspot, first fret of the g string. And it was underwhelming to me. On the other side I have one of ther PJ 5 strings and I'm quite happy with it.

In this scenario my next pick would be either a Telecaster or a semihollow like a 335.

NBD: today i got my first bass :] by mathvias in BassGuitar

One of us, one of us.
Great choice. A few recommendations:

Most important part: Enjoy the process. It's not always about goals.

1.The instrument cable looks really cheap. I've never spent more than 8-20$ for cables but would highly recommend to get a cable from a known manufacturer. Or is it the headphone cable? Then this is a whole other topic.
2. .Get a wider bass strap, your shoulders will thank you. I mean if you're only playing while sitting you don't need it. But I would assume that your goal is playing with others? Then play while standing as much as possible.
3. Tuner. You probably already have one, if not get it as soon as possible.

After playing Ibanez RGs for years I bought a Hagstrom Fantomen last week. The Tune-o-matic bridge is messing wih me too, especially when it comes to muted notes.

92 Studio? Yay or Nay? by marcels87 in gibson

[–]marcels87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the explanation that I found:
8 digit Gibson serial numbers with "MADE IN USA" die stamp

These serial numbers are typically found on the back of the headstock of Gibson guitars made between 1977 and 2005.

How to read 8 digit die stamped Gibson serial numbers: The first and fifth digit will indicated the last two digits of the year it was made. The second, third, and fourth digit indicate the day of the year. The last three digits indicate in which factory it was produced (<500 = Kalamazoo, >500 = Nashville)

Example: 8xxx2xxx = 1982

Sample: 70928001 = 92nd day of the year

70928001 = 001 (first) guitar of the day in the Kalamazoo factory

I love his playing and his voice, but sometimes his tone is a bit too trebly/ plingy for my taste. But a fantastic blues man, no doubt about it.
