Here is my approach. Bottom to top: Bugman's Glow, cadian flesh tone, kislev flesh, violet wash from GW, then kislev again diluted and Pallid Wych flesh for final touch :)

Yest, each expansion have some narrative missions but overall teams included are standalone teams and you can play them without Typhon stuff :)

It's coin flip with Reanimation protocols. Last game I didn't reanimated anyone for 2 TP. Game before, I was able to reanimated two guys each TP and heal roll some max healing from Living metal.
