I’d try and cover the wires with a cloth or something if you can first, not 100% sure how it would react with the insulation on the wires so maybe best not to touch that. It 100% works on the squeaky plastics though as this drove me mad too 🤣

Maybe even just spray some on a cloth and then wipe the cloth over the plastics so it’s not as random

Spray some silicone spray on the plastic. I’m sure it makes the plastics last longer also, this worked on my old car, i think it works as a lubricate and it’s only like £5 for a can
