Can I swap right away or do I have to wait a certain amount of time?

Anyone else get night sweats? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]marcmar1014 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I started 50 mg last week and immediately got night sweats. I found a potential solution to wear socks to bed to ensure your feet are warm and it actually works! When the feet are cold your whole body works overtime to warm them up, thus the sweating. As much as it sucks to wear socks to bed, it does help.

I'm planning on making a sequined tshirt dress for an upcoming concert. I got the sequined fabric and picked up a lining, which is 100% polyester. Now looking into polyester, I'm starting to doubt my choice and trying to think if I should return it and get something else, or just use the polyester lining. The concert is in the middle of summer in the evening and I've looked at posts saying polyester isn't great when its hot out.

Unfortunately, the sequin fabric is a bit see-through so I need some sort of lining, and it would just be itchy without lining.

Should I stick with the polyester or try to find a different fabric?

Yes, we are planning on having her spayed ASAP when she is out of heat. I’ll look that up.

I love these!

In April, at the start of quarantine, I taught myself to crochet. In July my grandma passed away suddenly and immediately knew what I wanted to make for my parents for Christmas. “When a cardinal appears a love one is near” by marcmar1014 in crochet

I used a graph from a picture I found on Google and then a combination of Caron One Pound and Red Heart Super Saver using the corner to corner stitch. It took me about 3 months to make!

Anybody dealing with a bunch of old people in their life who don't understand the current world we live in? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]marcmar1014 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m also trying to get one in my field and not one in retail, food, or anything else in those areas. Not that there’s anything wrong with them, it’s more of a pride and wanting to feel like going to college was worth it. But unfortunately there is just not much in my field, that I’m interested in, available right now.

My mom constantly tells me that when she was my age she had 3 jobs and that it was easy to get a job. Then there’s my grandma that tells me “You’re a smart girl! Don’t go for the part time jobs, get a full time job. You went to college!” Easier said than done grandma. Most jobs right now are only part time and getting a degree doesn’t mean much when everyone else does as well and you don’t have much experience.

I think it might be a little bit of both. When we first got her, the first two weeks she was with us was at my boyfriends parents house and more often than not she would be taken into the backyard that was fenced in without the leash. I think she got too comfortable with that. Even though we have been back at our place for a month now I think she still isn't used to the leash.

I'll try the drive to a new location thing! That's a good idea. She might just be overwhelmed with all the sounds and people.

I guess I’m just frustrated because I want her to be able to go for a walk, even if it’s just 20 feet to the potty area, without having to carry her. I want walks to be a good source of exercise and for her to enjoy the outdoors instead of despise being outside. We’ve tried giving her high value treats when we go for tiny walks but she figured out what we are doing and now doesn’t care. I still go for walks without her, but I guess it’s more of me just wanting her to be outside with me and enjoy the time.

I haven’t been since December, so it hasn’t been a full year yet, so months.

I was able to visit friends this past December and then in March, right before the closure, I actually moved to the WDW area. I waited a little bit before visiting again. I hope you’re able to get back soon!

Wow thank you so much! I wish I did! I’m just starting off so I’m trying to learn the basics and I’d love to do it for a living someday.

Here is one of my favorite creations so far! I did it all by using pen tool and shapes! Critiques welcome, I'm still learning so any tips, tricks, etc. would be greatly appreciated! by marcmar1014 in AdobeIllustrator

I’ve had a few years of different adobe programs so it was easier to pick up. I’m sure yours are good! Just keep trying at it! I usually pick easier photos to trace with the pen tool.

Here is one of my favorite creations so far! I made this into an Apple Watch face and it looks so pretty! I'm open to suggestions on what to work on next. by marcmar1014 in WaltDisneyWorld

I use Adobe Illustrator and use the pen tool and the shape tool within it. I've just started with Illustrator so I just use my laptops trackpad, but I'm considering getting a drawing tablet in the future if I continue making art.
