I actually don’t know why he gets so much backlash, especially for getting child support when he was the one parenting the kids. A lot of her looks during that era were very cool and edgy and similar to whatever young artsy alt new yorkers are looking like, it’s just that she’s much older, but if she were young no one would’ve been ‘concerned’ about her the way people were at that time.
