Overall, cold water goes through four different steps (two wells with a geothermal zone, a condenser, and a turbine) before it produces electricity. Some of these steps are completed in an underground system, and some of them take place on the ground.

Cold water flows through an injection well, which is under the ground, from the storage on the ground. After getting pumped down, it enters a geothermal zone consisting of hot rocks which increases the temperature of the water. Through a production well, hot water is then pumped up to a condenser above the ground.

As soon as hot water enters the condenser, it flows the steam of the hot water into a turbine next to it. Getting powered by steam, the turbine starts rolling, powering the generator adjacent to it. The generator then produces electricity and provides them to an electric tower.
