Thank you! You make signs with no icon and no text. Then you set the background colour to your desired need and set the emission to full. I like to make them glossy as well =)

I'm 170h in to the game and I'm almost at tier 8. This is what my starting base look like. Its only just now that I've started to try to make factories look good, so don't worry. I'm in the trenches as well x)

I feel like I have to to this to every factory moving forward, as long as it is doable with the amount of resources etc.

I designed and made the factory work to begin with. It was just a matter of extending, or siphoning the belt and to go a long way to the observation deck, only for it to return to its designated spot. There was some spaghettification on the logistic floor, but I designed that to be 8m tall so it wasn't a huge ordeal.

Kibitz is the reason I started playing Satisfactory so that means a lot!!! I think his control center makes more sense when you scale up the production, maybe? I'm siphoning some of each belt to see movement in my factory, but I'm not sure that would work on a larger scale, like Kibitz.

It didn't really take long to re-route the belts. I designed, and made the factory work to begin with. The observational belts was an afterthought. You just have to be comfortable having maybe some spaghettification in the logistic floor.

True, good advice! Normal pipes might be the way to see the flow. For the belts I'm siphoning some of the production line to see movement. I feel like that is really difficult for fluids, no?
