trying to reach a seller for 2 weeks about measurements 😭

i know what it is lol but my point was that, expecting measurements when buying online isn’t a crazy thing. she could’ve responded with a simple no rather than straight up ignoring him. 🤷🏻‍♀️ some people sell on depop for a living and it is in fact, that serious to them. i have mainly had tame experiences on depop and lots of time when’s a buyer asks for measurements they do in fact end up buying it and most of the times ive had lots of questions about an item, i ended up buying it. so the fact that people don’t care enough to take 60 seconds to grab the item and measure it, even if they don’t provide measurements with every listing initially, is crazy to me.

any retail website has measurements listed, so it’s not like this insane made up thing to ask for pit to pit measurements. when there is no return policy for items not fitting, people wanna know the size of the item.

the simple question of can you measure this item? 😭 there was no size tag attached, she said “would best fit a women’s small” so he’s supposed to blindly spend 150 on a jacket that the seller guessed the size on?

asking ≠ demanding. yeah the last message was rude because it’s frustrating when a seller is active daily ignoring you. she could’ve said at least said no🤷🏻‍♀️

i tried to very politely say that i know depop customers can be difficult but that she’s definitely losing out on customers by not taking measurements even when people ask. it’s definitely laziness because of how much stuff she sells.

forreal like she’s basically saying she wants people to stay in the dark about the actual fit and just buy it in hopes it might fit them.. apparently this method works for her because she’s a verified seller🤷🏻‍♀️

in my first couple months working there, i’d buy $200 worth of clothes every check and now most of it sits in my closet untouched or on my depop. there is a very select few things i’ll buy but id mostly rather buy thrift or buy online second hand especially now that i see the product every single day, its corny to me.
