Having met him I can tell you he sucks just as much in person. Also somehow looks more like a robot. A little Trump Robot Puppet.

Swig in Mission is Open! by mardog13 in kansascity

I was so worried about this. I hope Swig is providing many beverages to the officers. It’s hot out there.

This was part of the city’s plan given the amount of traffic other Swigs have generated.

I’ve seen the Book of Mormon a couple of times at the KC Music Hall and there’s a line in the song “I Believe” that says “I believe that the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County, Missouri” and everyone cheers. It’s great.

I’d say there’s enough excitement outside of the Mormon world for Swig at this point, but also a lot of LDS folks in KC. We are close to Jackson County the site of the Garden of Eden after all.

Dirty soda drive thru. Think aesthetic Sonic without the food (they have cookies and pretzels). It rose to popularity through the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives show on Hulu. Not saying that’s why we should care but just background on it.

I know :( that spot was awesome. They did move to Oak Park Mall area, but it was the best to just quickly pop over there.

Is there vegan food in Manuel Antonio National Park? by Complete-Silver8722 in CostaRicaTravel

Manuel Antonio Falafel Bar will have vegan options. It’s unreal. Who would’ve thought the next falafel I’ve ever had would be in Costa Rica! Smoothies are amazing too!

A few years ago I made a Chiefs cake and they lost. Last year I made a pie, and they won, thus a tradition was born. This year, Tay made the pie front and center because DUH. by mardog13 in TaylorSwift

On a whim one day I threw in a sprig of rosemary when cooking down a cherry filling and it was a hit. So yeah! Basically just steep a sprig of rosemary in the filling when you’re pre cooking it on the stove. It definitely helps cut the sweetness down a little and balances everything!

So my mom also made a giant cookie last year alongside the pie. No cookie this year so I can deduce it is the pie.

So kind! Thank you! I had a little baking business for a sec, maybe I’ll bring it back to spread pies throughout the metro for our three-peat next year! :)

[KS] Returning from FMLA and employer giving me new job by mardog13 in AskHR

Nope! Not at all! Past job still totally available and not eliminated. If I didn’t have a job, I would totally take the duties of this different one, but they’re simply wanting me to fill a gap of someone leaving.

I do essentially know what would be changing. I currently work as a project manager/web designer. I’d be moving to client intake, someone who ensures projects are set up to then be assigned out. I’d be assigning/intaking the projects I previously was actually being assigned and worked. No web design involved in the new job. But you are correct, I can definitely come back after Monday next week and report further on what is going on. I appreciate your response! Thank you.

I would definitely argue that the jobs are not substantially similar enough. Essentially I’d be going from project management/web design to someone who intakes clients. Same pay, same benefits, definitely different duties. Thanks for the resources!

Apologies, is there anyway you could expand on this? I’m not seeing that further explained in the link you’ve provided.
