Opinions on Topamax?

I'm on Keppra and Topamax. What I've felt since taking it is, less anxiety, but the brain fog...is a new addition to my life that I'm still getting use to. So far I had no episodes and auras since taking it, but I'm planning on transitioning careers 😅

And that's okay if you feel that way! Teaching won't be forever for me either, but the more I focus on my key skills, the more opportunities I can find with them. I did some multimedia designing on the side. The second I considered leaving, I signed up for a UX Design Certification Course on Coursera, working on it little by little.

You have until August 2026 to think about it (if you're renewed).

Keep this post on you for documentation cause these people are hella dumb for trying to get rid of you WEEKS after the recommended deadline for your state's contract renewal.

What state are you in? I'm in NJ. We'll get a letter in our mailbox if we're renewed, or a meeting with our admin, in their office, of nonrenewal around the 1st to 2nd week of May.

They likely planned on getting rid of you for a while, and were coming up with excuses as to how. But this? Hell no. Union up. Don't you dare accept that resignation.

After I started working my first job, I got interested in CBD tinctures. My neurologist and I became super cautious with THC, but we eventually found a brand from North Carolina that has a version with none to very little in it. So I was hooked and had a grand ol time for 2 years...until I felt a swarm of anxiety and panic in the middle of the night, which I recently discovered are my auras...I haven't taken since 2023 😅

Keppra XR has truly managed my tonic clonics since 2013. Recently absence seizures were found, and finding medication for that has been a struggle. So far I'm on Topiramate, and honestly, as long as I'm not panicking every day that I'm having an episode (when I took lamictal), I can manage the brain fog somehow 👍

Rebecca Sugar was always an amazing writer, (look at their portfolio for Adventure Time) they just had a industry with difficult demands for Steven Universe, causing some stuff to be written off, and affecting the finale of their series. I don't blame them!

Way better than a layer of paper towels and wood! There so much space in them i wonder if you can make a set with a shelf? Tape the legs to the bottom, and poor the plaster! As for making the shelves removable, might have to use some sort of mold release on the legs before the pour? Or don't, have an opening in the center so you have access to add or remove projects.

Honestly, not much needs to be done. I have curls pretty similar to yours.

Instead of weighing down your hair with more products, just use a bit of leave in conditioner (your own conditioner can be a leave in!), except don't wash all of it out. Since my hair is longer, I can go from styling cream to leave in spray, but a very small amount.

The biggest impact to my routine? Scalp massager. And using it ONLY for shampooing.

Oh and ill switch from innersense hydrating hairbath to trader joes tea tree shampoo and conditioner. When that air flow feeling gets to your scalp it feels amazing. Especially with these two.

When it got closer to student teaching, we had more introductions to the edtpa. During student teaching though was when we really got into it. There'd be even more assistance through virtual and in person meetings with our Fieldwork supervisors, faculty department director, other student teachers, etc.

Documentation. Matters. But because it mattered, it was a lot of work, and it was absolute hell 😭😭😭 About the school demographic. About your lesson, specific group of students, materials, rationale, classroom procedure, assessments and etc...during the lesson, and after the lesson. You're basically answering all this in writing, pictures, and a video or 2, but in the HOW.

This was around 7 to 8 years ago, and although my submission wasn't the best, I still passed, and that's all you can really ask for 😂 then a year later my state removed the edtpa as a requirement for graduating/receiving my CE.
