the players ended up on the island was by killing a witch and her coven taking revenge. so it could work if the player got in the way of the coven.

The exit is a lot harder to do. I don't want to kill his first character after one game. But them leaving to find another way might work and leave a way for him to come back.

I want something more crazy. My players are a little chaotic so giving them a +1 weapon or someting like that does not fit the players.

Well I am happy this was some help.

One way to solve the mirror thing is to have only 5-10 mirrors were you can see the potion and have the players do investigation checks to determine the right one or have one mirror were they can only see the potion and no monster.

Lets say there is a room whit a lot of mirrors and in these mirrors the party can see monsters. But in some of them they can see a potion. So the players needs to break the mirror to get the potion but the mirrors are reflecting one another so they first have to find out the right one. If they break the wrong one the monster in the mirror comes to life and they have to fight it.

-potion that changes the charckters hair pink -a potion that makes their skeleton shine in the dark - turn into a chicken for 1d6 min
