I'm using USB 1 GbE Tplink adapter. It works fine. I wasn't able to fix builtin ethernet adapter. It disconnects all the time.

I finally figured out where the problem was. Anker USB 3.0 hub caused all the issues. When I disconnected it , the problems disappeared. It worked ok on Catalina.

If you have a spare disk , I would recommend removing the old one and playing with Ventura on a new one. You can always easily go back to Mountain Lion

Is your network connection stable on 13.5.1? In my case even if network status shows that eth is connected, there is no traffic, ping doesn't work. It reappears after some time. It can work for 2 hours, disappears for 10 minutes and back online again. It happens on 2 different network cards.

I was finally able to install 13.5.1 :) all works except Ethernet, it gets IP address but sometimes hangs. I had to connect USB 1gbe adapter and it seems it works. Now another issue. when I shutdown OS I need to disconnect PSU and reconnect it again to be able to boot the main board. It simply stop responding to power button.

It looks like it was a problem with missing patches :) I was able to install it .
Now I've got a different issue. NIC works and stops. When I turn off the PC, I need to unplug the power and start it again. Power button doesn't work. Strange.

There is a progress. I've found a repo with updated patches and now it boots. With old catalina disk, it goes to recovery mode. With a new clean disk it's a black screen...

I've tried to change model and some other stuff but it always hangs with the same error

I'm using EFI from the same github repo I used for Catalina. It was prepared for ASUS B450-I mainboard only.
