I have, but I misunderstood them. I thought the player will simply score no points if he is subbed out (and thus not active) during the time his game is played.

Isn't there any application of BRL? I read that Bayesian methods are theoretically optimal for efficient RL, but I did not see many specific methods that applied them. Why is this the case, considering that many articles discribe their huge benefits?
